Great hotel but can be noisy depending on your room location and days of stay.
Pros:

We stayed at Cinnamon Life for 7 nights as we were in Colombo to watch the cricket. The hotel still feels very new and well cared for. The staff were very good. The quality of food in the restaurants and room service was excellent, and the Sweet Lab was convenient for a quick bite.

Cons:

We had an ocean view room which was lovely, but it was close to the Gatz cocktail bar; when live bands were playing (into the early hours of the morning) the noise was too much even with earbuds in. I suspect we'd have had a totally different experience if we'd been at the back of the hotel.

Overall pleasant stay thanks to very helpful concierge staff.

The room wasn’t ready when we arrived at 3pm despite checking in to be available from 2pm and receiving an email offering early check in.

Riesen Hotel für eine Nacht vor Abflug ok aber wenig Charme

Riesiges Hotel mit Shops und Casino und Pool und Bars und Restaurants

Wir sind direkt vom Strand Hotel im Süden nach 3h Autofahrt um 18:45 angekommen und konnten nach ewigen Check in - man muss zuerst durch Security Kontrollen dann in den obersten Stock fahren - sie scannen ewig alle Pässe mit dem iPad usw unser Zimmer nicht beziehen da sie noch finale Checks machen mussten - auf die Bitte das meine 3 jährige Tochter müde ist und aufs Klo muss meinten sie nur wir müssen warten - 5 Personen hat es gebraucht um uns nach 30 Minuten ein Zimmer zu geben - nicht akzeptable für ein 5 Sterne Hotel
