The room was lovely and modern. It was very comfy with the sofa and the bed. We loved the outside terrace and was a perfect place for a relaxing break!
There was nothing bad that we could say about the place, we really enjoyed it and would happily stay again!
Fantastic location with an amazing view over the mouth of the Douro and the Atlantic. For us, being directly at the start of the Porto Half Marathon was perfect. The large terrace has great potential and the view from there is truly beautiful.
Unfortunately, the rest did not live up to the very high price. At a five-star hotel price level, we expected considerably more.
Service was slow and impersonal, with changing contacts via chat and nobody available by phone. Even simple requests required repeated follow-ups. The safe did not work throughout our stay, despite several requests to have it fixed.
There was hardly any space to store clothes, only the bare minimum of towels, no terrace towels, no tissues and not even complimentary bottled water—just tap water. The shower fitting kept falling off, and cleaning was rather superficial and very late.
The terrace itself was poorly maintained: dry plants, broken plant pots, a rusty table and no loungers or comfortable place to relax—only chairs.
Overall, this property has a fantastic location and view, but unfortunately the service, maintenance and amenities are far below what we would expect at this price point. It felt more like a basic Airbnb charging a five-star hotel price.

It was quiet easy to find and a good location . Very clean with nice facilities.
Las fotos cumplen con la realidad y el espacio es cómodo y limpio. También está muy bien comunicado tanto con el centro y la playa, tiene muy buenas vistas. Si llamas al teléfono de emergencia son muy amables y te atienden rápido.
Sin embargo, no tienen recepción lo que hace el proceso de check in más tedioso. No tienen recepción y como consecuencia si llegas antes no puedes dejar las maletas en ningún sitio, ellos te proporcionan la dirección de una consigna que se encuentra a 10 minutos de la ubicación pero te supone un gasto innecesario. De la misma manera, el check in se produce a las 16:00 hora que consideró tarde.
Location was great if you want to explore downtown Porto. You have the tram at the door and beach close by.
The expectation of the property being facing the river was completely the opposite. Our room was on the back end with a different building entrance. Had no view and the room felt small and had a bad smell from sewage. We were under the impression it was an hotel, but there was no reception or any facilities. No one met us upon check in is just like an Airbnb.
