The Gate Hotel Fukuoka by Hulic

Great hotel in a great location. The subway is in the basement of the hotel building. We could walk or catch public transport to all the main sights. Staff were very helpful and friendly. The terrace was a wonderful place to relax and view the city skyline.

Excellent hotel, super well located in Tenjin.
The hotel is right on the airport subway line making it very easy to reach the airport.
Restaurant is excellent, and the breakfast buffet is superb.
Rooms are spacious clean and quiet.

Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt. 15 Minuten vom Flughafen und der Eingang liegt direkt über der U Bahn Station. Sehr nettes und hilfreiches Personal. Das Zimner war groß, die Betten äußerst bequem und alles sehr sauber. Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältniss passt.

Everything about this hotel was fantastic, from the location, spacious room, and beautiful views to the excellent service, breakfast, and restaurants.

A taxi from the airport to the hotel costs around ¥3,000 and takes about 30 minutes. It’s worth considering, especially if you have large luggage, as the subway can be very crowded during rush hours. Nevertheless, the hotel is directly connected to the subway. If you exit through the West Exit, you will immediately see Exit 5, where an elevator takes you directly to the hotel lobby on the 19th floor. If you exit through the East Exit, you will arrive at One Fukuoka Hotel and need to walk another three minutes to find Exit 5. The surrounding area is full of coffee shops, restaurants, supermarkets, and department stores, all within walking distance.

Breakfast is served semi-buffet style, with three main dishes to choose from, including a traditional Japanese option. Everything was delicious. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was another highlight, with gorgeous views, excellent food, and reasonable prices.

The bathroom deserves special mention because of its thoughtful design and attention to detail. Everything seems to have been carefully considered for travelers, from the extra towels to the double sinks, well-designed shower door that prevents water from splashing out, and bidet toilet functions. A small but comfortable longue for free snacks and drinks. These little details make a real difference to the comfort of a stay.

This is a wonderful hotel that combines convenience, comfort, excellent dining, and thoughtful design. We would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Fukuoka!
