This hotel has been closed since December but Booking.com you still took our money. We had nowhere to stay when we arrived
It’s was close to sea front
It was clean and staff were friendly
Breakfast was a complimentary continental breakfast delivered to the room with housekeeping consisting of pain au chocolat, cereals, toast, jam and butter plus coffee from a Dolce Gusto machine. A very pleasant surprise as we had booked not to have a cooked breakfast.
The staff were very friendly and helpful - housekeeping kept us stocked up with food and made sure we had basic supplies. The owners had closed the restaurant below the hotel (which was a shame as the food looked delicious) but allowed us to leave luggage in the room on our last day.
The view is the real highlight - lovely views over the pier towards Brean Down, Flat and Steep Holm and the Bristol Channel. It looked beautiful at sunrise and sunset. It even looked good in the snow!
The location is very convenient - a few minutes walk to the centre, some good pubs and right on the front.
The bed was a little on the small and soft side.

Ceral and pain au chocolate provided every day for breakfast. Milk in the fridge when we arrived.
Bed comfy. Sea view. Minutes from the pier and town, perfect spot to stay.

Really well appointed room - breakfast items all laid out including bread, toaster, cereals milk etc. Kettle and microwave too. Easy access via keys in a key safe. Great location right on the front.
Room was a little dark - the lights didn't manage to light it sufficiently.
Everything was spotlessly clean, plenty of breakfast items, quality towels and furnishings. Will definately stay here again 🙂
All was provided for a continental breakfast which did was great for us as we like to wake up and have a coffee and light breakfast when we are ready. Excellent choice in room for cereals and toast.

It was very near the city centre which I was pleased about as it was Winter and most things were closed and it was too cold and windy for the beach of course. For most anyway I expect! Prices very reasonable then too.
The room was like a little kitchen with lots of tea and coffee and cutlery and the bread and toaster were welcomed very much when I just wanted a little snack at night or for breakfast. A good sized room and clean.
I found the main light a little dim and the lamps a bit too glaring so had to switch the lamps off. That was all.
Friendly and helpful staff. Nice touch to have a complimentary breakfast. Room great for our purpose and very clean.

Tv was problematic. Lighting was dim.
I had stayed here before at the beginning of the year but had a family room. This time I had a single room. It was easy to check in - just had to go to Nicks restaurant below the rooms and the staff give you your key. The room itself was lovely and warm, great views of the sea and pier. It was clean and tidy with plenty of tea, coffee, sugars and milk which is always important to me when I stay anywhere. Television had plenty of channels to choose from. Nice to have a full length mirror which I find is rare these days.
It took quite a while for the hot water to come through when showering. The room could do with a small clothing rail to hang things up and maybe a small table and chair to be able to eat at instead of having to sit on the bed. The room included continental breakfast but it was a miniature box of rice crispies, a pain au chocolat and lots of jams and marmalades - not sure why there were so many preserves as there was nothing to have them with. The walls between rooms were quite thin as was woken early by someone vomiting a lot.

Location excellent and the room was well equipped for a continental breakfast.
Only just an adequate amount of heating on when we arrived but no heating on at all the follow morning.
No WiFi accessible at all during our stay. I messaged booking.com but had no reply when I mentioned these two problems. Very disappointing as the room and location were good.
