The Place Brussels

Nothing. Maybe location.....

Lieu à éviter. Ce n'est pas cher mais c'est désastreux. Pas de rideaux donc nuit avec la lumière de la rue extérieure, sachant qu'un lampadaire est juste devant la fenêtre. Chambre mal nettoyée, surtout les toilettes et le sol. Aucun espace pour poser ses affaires ou même de tenir debout pour s'habiller. Aucune insonorisation, on entend les bruits de la rue comme si on était au bar. Et pour finir pas de service client. Pas de réception physique, seulement un numéro de téléphone avec quelqu'un qui fait semblant d'écouter mais ne propose aucune solution.

TV doesn't work as remote is missing and no curtain covering the window, bathroom is too small to use to get dressed, so if you want to dress in privacy you will have to do so in the shower. There are offices directly across the window as well as window cleaners

The stairs are dangerously narrow and steep. If you have luggage to carry up, it is almost impossible to go up. It was difficult for us to go up and down the stairs with our standard backpacks. If you have small children they can easily fall between the railings and get severely hurt !!!!

Loud noise from outside, no soundproofing, hard to sleep when you hear loud music and screaming from outside.
The room STINKS of sewage and mold. We tried to contact Smartflats as it was unbearable because my mother has asthma and could not breathe properly, but they could not be reached during the stay!!!

We contacted expedia and when they contacted them they refused to apologize or compensate us.

They only care about getting paid, not a serious company. DO NOT BOOK a room through smartflats !!!!!

El wifi no funcionaba, la cama era inestable y hacia mucho ruido, lo peor fue el olor a cloaca que hubo durante toda la estadía. Las escaleras en caracol son muy complicadas para las valijas.
En general lo único bueno era la ubicación céntrica.

Es Stinkt nach Urin und es ist dreckig. Weder das WLAN noch der Fernseher funktionieren. Die Fenster sind überhaupt nicht Schall isoliert, daher ist es extrem laut und man kann nicht schlafen. Nebenan ist eine Bar, die bis 11:00 Abends Musik spielt und man sich dabei fühlt, als würde man mit seinem Bett mitten auf der Tanzfläche stehen

The view and location is great and it is ideal if you are a solo traveler backpacking. But if you have kids/ travel with large bags, please avoid this place as there are no elevators and the rooms are a bit crammed for space!

Property was close to grand place which was convenient but it was too noisy and we had no Wi-Fi for the whole stay. The Wi-Fi listed on the email was not even showing up and they provided us with password for the other wifi connection and it was incorrect password and later they told us that the it was connection error and trying to fix it but nothing was done. They didn’t even provide us with proper pillow.

Amazingly central and atmospheric. Interesting decoration inside and the attic room is a pleasing space to relax in.
