Pros:

Room was Fresh and new. Laundry service Folded laundry elegantly with great scent. Food at 7th floor restaurant had plenty of options and fantastic presentation and flavor every time.

Prima verblijf voor een bezoek aan de eilanden. Eten en drinken te duur. Sihanoukville de meest deprimerende stad ooit.
Pros:

+ Vrij nieuw hotel
+ Ruime en heel nette kamer (vergelijkbaar qua grootte en netheid als van der Valk in Nederland). De blauwe dekbedovertrekken en het donkere hout op de foto’s doet wellicht vermoeden dat het om een wat verouderde kamer gaat, maar dat is absoluut niet het geval
+ Verlichting op de kamer heel fijn te bedienen
+ Meerdere gratis flesjes water op de kamer
+ Goed werkende airco
+ Vriendelijkheid van het personeel
+ Prijs van de kamer t.o.v. de geboden kwaliteit
+ Zwembad(je) zag er prima uit, al vond ik de ligging op de 7e verdieping bij het restaurant wat vreemd. Ook zit er een sauna bij

Cons:

- Zowel het ontbijt als het avondeten viel mij wat tegen qua smaak. Al moet ik daarbij aangeven dat ik voor westerse opties had gekozen; Amerikaans ontbijt en als diner een Caesar salade met kipburger. Niet aan te raden. Ga voor de Aziatische opties zou ik zeggen. Met name de Japanse opties zagen er goed uit.
- Prijzen van het eten en drinken zijn erg hoog (in verhouding): USD 4 voor een biertje, avondeten was USD 25 voor salade, kipburger en een biertje.
- Er zijn vrijwel geen hotelgasten. Er loopt meer personeel dan hotelgasten rond. Geeft een wat vreemde sfeer
- Braakliggend terrein in de directe omgeving van het hotel. Geen horeca in de buurt.
- Het hotel en de gehele stad Sihanoukville is gericht op met name Chinese goktoeristen. Ook op de begane vloer van dit hotel zit een casino. Er zat alleen niemand, behalve veel personeel
- Sihanoukville is een deprimerende stad. Ik ben al op relatief veel plekken geweest, maar Sihanoukville is wel heel bijzonder en een vrij bizarre stad. Door de gehele stad zie je hoge, verlaten en onafgemaakte appartementencomplexen of hotels. Ik had er al wat over gelezen, maar toch stond ik er van te kijken. Heel bizar.
- Je moet in dit hotel (of in de rest van Sihanoukville) alleen verblijven voor een bezoek aan Koh Rong of Koh Rong Sanloem. Daar is het een prima hotel voor. Met de Tuk-tuk was ik voor USD 2 binnen 15 minuten bij de pier/haven naar Koh Rong Sanloem. Overigens is het niet nodig om vooraf al boottickets te kopen maar de eilanden. Bij de haven zijn meerdere aanbieders. De prijzen zijn gelijk. Kies gewoon de optie die als eerste vertrekt. Al moet je daarbij rekening houden dat het zo een half uur of langer duurt voordat de boot daadwerkelijk vertrekt. Vooral
goed om rekening mee te houden bij vertrek van de eilanden. Houd voldoende speling als je bijvoorbeeld een vlucht moet halen.

Pros:

I liked that the property is within easy walking distance and sight of the main Street. The reception staff and restaurant staff are wonderful. The lunch and dinner menus, food and prices are excellent. The quality and size of the room and furniture are very good.

Cons:

Most of the American breakfast when delivered was cold and greasy each morning and twice the orange juice was warm. The bed was very firm and all the pillows were too firm, high and only suitable for a back sleeper. I had to use a cushion from the sofa to sleep on. I had to go to reception to organise coffee and toiletries for my room as the cleaning staff didn't attend to my room for 2 days. You can only use YouTube on the TV without accounts and there is no cable TV.

Pros:

A beautiful hotel with state of the art amenities and fabulous staff.

Cons:

It was set too far away from local restaurants and shops. I was a single traveller who felt it best not venture out at night so I stayed in the hotel.

Good for a treat but a bit odd on entry
Pros:

Beautifully presented and very clean. Helpful staff, lovely food and gorgeous pool

Cons:

Big metal detector on the way in a bit of putting. Needed cash as a deposit which I wasn’t expecting. I what looked like an abandoned building plot.
