I felt very comfortable and welcomed. I also felt safe and accounted for, being a solo female guest.
Pros:

The atmosphere was very warm and friendly.
I enjoyed the communal kitchen and being able to prepare my own food and store it in the communal fridge.
I enjoyed meeting and greeting hotel staff and fellow journey persons and the layout of the hotel is great for that.
The towels were clean and the sheets and rooms were very clean and we could get what we wanted when we wanted.
The bathrooms were large, if a little old and the beds were comfortable .. an essential for yours truly .. the bedrooms were also bigger than average, comparatively speaking.

Cons:

It may not be a biggy for others, and though I made fun with it, there was very limited and poor flow hot water.
I understand the manager / owner is rectifying this.
For me - this would be a deal breaker .. a hot shower, especially if you aren't feeling great or just want to wash the Delhi Dust off you or if you need to wash your long hair - goes a long way to improving the day or night!
I had got the impression it was in a quieter location, and though it is not - if you are in a room away from the street - you don't hear a thing.

Because my friend fell in the bathroom, not so great
Pros:

Great staff and good location. Clean

Cons:

My guest fell down in the bathroom. No ant-slip material in the bathroom. Stairs, No elevators. Very difficult to transport to the hospital

A small bed and breakfast with some weak points compensated by very friendly service
Pros:

The bed and breakfast is very well located in a nice part of Delhi. The rooms are spacious and clean and street side rooms have a huge shared balcony which is very nice. Although they don't really speak English the personnel is very helpful and ready to give information about the area and to adapt to all wishes. It is really the strong suit of the establishment. The place is small (3 rooms) and felt very safe as a solo female traveller. The wifi works well. The bathrooms have hot water and good water pressure.

Cons:

The bed sheets were clean but there were some old stains. Finding the place was a hassle: the adress on Booking is not right, (the right one is on google maps though!) and it is in a back courtyard type set up with only a small plaque on the street which makes it hard to find. There were 2 electricity blackouts during my stay one of which lasted for several hours. What's more the breakfast though it *was* offered was limited in terms of options as the chef was not there. The personnel was ready to go get some from a restaurant or help cook one for no extra charge though. Street side rooms are very loud, it is possible to request the others, which are smaller. I didn't I just used noise cancelling headphones which was alright.

Cons:

- Chambre non conforme aux photos sur booking.
- Pas de fenêtre et d'ouverture sur l'extérieur (effet d'enfermement)
- Les sous entendus d'un salarié pour passer la nuit avec moi (je suis une cliente pas une prostituée). De plus, attention aux distances à respecter avec les clients. Je me sentais très gênée et n'avais pas l'impression qu'on me regardais dans les yeux.
- Pas de propreté : sols, murs, portes, douche, toilettes, draps, serviettes sont sales.
- Pas d'eau chaude pour la douche.
- Pas de chauffage dans la chambre et la salle de bain. J'avais très froid. Ils m'ont prêté un radiateur électrique tout petit qui n'a pas suffit pour réchauffer la pièce et avec lequel je ne pouvais pas m'endormir car dangereux.
- Mauvaise litterie (très très mou) et pas d'alaise ou quelconque protection hygiénique du matelas.
- Petit déjeuner très léger sans aucun choix
- De devoir insister pour avoir un petit déjeuner alors qu'il est indiqué "petit déjeuner inclus " sur Booking
- Aucune information est donnée à mon arrivée et on s'empresse de m'encaisser.
- Difficulté de communiquer avec le personnel qui ne parle pas anglais.
- Le bruit : j'entendais des vomissements, des rots incessants, ce qui donnait une ambiance glauque.
- On me met la pression pour laissez une bonne note et le faire devant eux avant de partir.
