I know Yorktown is a small town, however, hotels should still be clean and up to date with equipment
Cons:

I couldn't believe the blow dryer in the room wasn't replaced; it looks like it caught on fire and split down the middle. 1 ply toilet paper, really not good. There was an ironing board but no iron.
This was our second room (102), 101 had a dead refrigerator, it was hot and the air conditioner was very noisy.
Your breakfast was horrible, if you want to call that breakfast. Maybe change the name to Continental Breakfast. Most places have at least a waffle maker and a better variety of food.
If you don't put the money in the place, then do not expect good reviews.

I thought about going to Yorktown Inn and Suites but heard that place was worse. This facility is okay but could be better.

Pros:

The only good thing was that it was pet-friendly.

Cons:

The entire stay was horrible! It was dirty plus there were stains on the bedding and when the replacement was requested it was dirty as well. The water pressure was very low in the shower. It was cold at night and when the heater was turned on the burnt smell never stopped it was horrible and we had to air out the room. The office was no help with the issues.

Does not feel safe, clean, or up to standards of what a basic hotel should be, regardless of price.
Pros:

It's cheap and has great water pressure in the showers. Stayed here twice to go ghost hunting up the road at Yorktown Memorial Hospital. After you've been in there all night, the hotel is less horrific.

Cons:

Staff & others attempt to open your door prior to checkout. The rooms stink and are visibly dirty. This time you could tell somebody had crawled onto the bed, and that somebody had eaten their lunch in the bathroom because of the rice all over the counter. The towels are permanently stained, so you feel dirty again immediately after taking a shower, that is if you even can because the shampoo bottles are covered in the food residue. Last time the fire alarm went off & the staff were missing from the facility when you tried to get answers.
