Staff were so lovely.
The true experience of Cambridge.
The vibe and location
The inner glance to the college life
The breakfast and the breakfast hall
The strict check-in policy and the lock on the door ;)

Large, very clean, updated room with comfortable bed. Kettle in the room, free bottles of water. Clean linen and bathroom. Basic breakfast but very good and tasty
Great place to stay - breakfast in the dining hall was great.
Mooie moderne kamer, geweldige college sfeer.

Central, convenient, peaceful.
Poor provision of mirrors. Reduced to doing my make up in a dingy, dark mirror inside the wardrobe door. Hairdryer provided – great, but the cord too short to stretch to the only mirror in the room. So basically unusable.
Both these problems could be solved by a standalone mirror on the desk in the room which stands in front of the window. It is almost as if a man had designed this room and no women were consulted. (Reminds me of a place I stayed in during the 1980s which had exactly the same problems – have we not moved on since then??)
The room had a shared bathroom and, out of deference to other guests , I did not use the bathroom to put on my make-up but elected to do so in my room. Turned out that was a mistake.
The day I stayed – and it seems pretty standard – breakfast was not in the same building as the room, but a couple of minutes walk away in the main dining hall. If you’re on a busy morning schedule, you may end up doing as I did and skipping breakfast. Shame really as I know I would’ve enjoyed it. but maybe frankly that’s down to me.
Very helpful staff and super clean room.
Breakfast in the dining hall a wonderful experience
Location is not quite at what Google Maps consider to be Jesus college
I was cheated of £78 by a wealthy Cambridge College.
I am disabled and rely on disability benefits as income.
I mistakenly booked a room that was not suitable, given my disability.
The hotel refused to upgrade the room and told me to upgrade via Booking.com.
I booked the upgraded room via Booking.com and asked the hotel to cancel the unsuitable room. The hotel defused to cancel the unsuitable room and told me to cancel via Booking.com.
Booking.com agreed to cancel or reschedule for a future date the unsuitable room, and said it needed the agreement of the hotel, which it would seek by email and telephone. The hotel refused any cancellation and any rescheduling.
I ended up, on my severely limited budget, a disabled person, becoming stressed by spending 48 hours missing my meetings in Cambridge and instead mediating between speaking with reception at the hotel and waiting and speaking on the phone with Booking.com, and subsidising a wealth Cambridge College to the tune of £78 in return for nothing. I feel cheated.
I knocked a point off the 'comfort' rating due to the fire alarm going off in the middle of the night. It turned out someone had decided to cook a meal late at night and must have dozed off, which caused smoke and triggered the alarm. I think a little more guidance for guests on fire safety might help avoid this and improve everyone's comfort.
Great surroundings. Excellent breakfast.
An absolute Jem of a place , located right in the heart of Cambridge, a wonderful historic building with it own exceptional gardens
Nothing
The wider college was the key reason to stay.
Our room was on the road and, as we like to have a window open, it was a little noisier than ideal.
Excellent location.
Very friendly staff.
Very nice stay, very clean and well maintained. Amazing food too
Nothing!
The location is excellent and theroom was very clean and modern. Excellent breakfast in historic hall.
The bedding was a bit too hot and a ventilation setting on the windows would have helped cool us.
THE BREAKFAST WAS GREAT
THE ROOM WAS COSY
Location, en-suite shower room, breakfast, garden areas.
Signage to breakfast area could be improved.
