It feels a bit odd to have to leave the balcony door open if you want to have the open window feeling.
Location and clean
The air unit on the room kept us up at night which is disappointing considering your couldn’t adjust the temperature or turn it off!! Get ear plugs!!
Really lovely location, clean, friendly staff
The only thing that was missed was a thin sheet to sleep under - the duvet is too hot in this weather :)
The building is within the college grounds, beautifully built connecting to the old building frontage and college. It is centrally located, and we parked close by with ease. Although it was out of term time.
You can wander around the college and it’s grounds, as well as the college bar.
The staff were all friendly and very helpful. There are convenience stores close by.
It was during the heatwave, and only the 1/4 lights on the window opened, so we couldn’t get any airflow, even with the provided fan.
The breakfast was a help yourself style, and the fried eggs were all in a tray under a heat lamp, so we’re all hard and set. But otherwise it was a great experience, and we would definitely book again.

A high-quality and well-rounded breakfast. A comfortable and spacious apartment. Very friendly and careful staff.
Room cleanliness could be better; there were a few hairs and some stains here and there.
Extremely friendly and helpful reception staff. Room was very cute and cosy and had a fan (appreciated in the heatwave!). College grounds were really beautiful and peaceful. Excellent breakfast in a beautiful setting.
The only minor gripe was that the shower is a wet room style room, and the water didn't drain properly, meaning the whole bathroom floor was flooded when I took a shower :(
