I do not recommend staying at Oyster Bay Hotel in Vung Tau.
The shower flooded daily and required repeated maintenance calls. The room was unclean, and room service requests were completely ignored throughout our stay. After eating the buffet breakfast, I experienced food poisoning. The food selection was also limited and not vegan-friendly. The gym is extremely small and does not resemble the photos on the hotel's website.
Check-in took nearly two hours, with a young child and an elderly family member with an injury, with no acknowledgement or apology from staff.
The most serious issue was the handling of our departure and refund. After a lengthy discussion (using our precious vacation time) with the hotel manager about the problems we experienced, she verbally agreed to refund 2 nights and confirmed that an evening checkout was acceptable, with no fees or conditions mentioned. The hotel has since reversed both commitments entirely. It's been about 3 weeks now and no refund has been issued. When challenged, they introduced details that were never communicated at the time and have since gone silent.
Every attempt to resolve this has been met with evasion. The pattern of verbal assurances that are later denied, combined with an unresolved overcharge, points to dishonest business practices. Save yourself the trouble and stay elsewhere.

Good restaurants within walking distance. Staff pleasant.
Rubbish left in public area bins for days so Very smelly near the lifts. Plastic chairs on the pool deck were very dangerous and not sturdy. They collapsed numerous times with people on them. Strange open bedroom on our floor for two days with discarded towels and rubbish.
Food often runs out or is limited because there are too many people, it’s hard to find a table, and there’s a lack of staff assistance.

Saubere, gut ausgestattetes Zimmer mit direktem Blick auf das Meer, eine weit entfernte Reede und die Schiffsbewegungen im Fahrwasser. Balkon gut zu nutzen. Frühstücksraum im 16 Stock mit Blick auf das Meer. Gut Platz zwischen den Tischen. Gutes Buffett, asiatisch aber auch mit Käse und Wurst. Frisch zubereitete Eier auf Kundenwunsch.
Der Kaffee beim Frühstück war leider nicht Western-Style, sondern bitter-vietnamesisch. Kein Kaffeeautomat für Spezialitäten. Es fehl ein großer Ganzkörperspiegel im Zimmer.
