Comfortable, great value for money. Complimentary water and juice
The receptions/publican was great and super friendly. Was surprised to see there is milk, coffee, tea, and cereal for breakfast in addition to two small bottled water in the fridge. The heating was great and the shower was great with high pressure.
Cleanliness of the room was abysmal, every corner of the room and bathroom need a thorough cleaning session. the shower base was disgusting I cleaned it myself with a towel before I stepped in it. There is smell in the air not sure what it was, mouldy kind of smell. The bed is ok at best. Nothing felt clean really unfortunately which made the stay horrible.
It was warm
We chose this accommodation because they offered a cooked breakfast which was not available. It was scruffy and was unclean, dust and crumbs on the floors, dirty toilet
Remoteness
Lovely country pub which had everything you’d need. Great staff, fantastic food, good prices and a comfy bed. Would happily recommend.
Nothing.
The room was basic which I could accept but was filthy. The bedding was dirty and smelled stale and unwashed.
The manager apologised and moved me to another room which appeared cleaner but on closer inspection, was also dirty with stale unwashed bedding.
This place could be a fantastic place to stay. A quiet village pub 4 miles from Luton airport.
