Staff were really welcoming. Red lion burger is a burger like no other
Lovely staff, great accommodation, quiet surroundings, had a fantastic sleep, would highly recommend.
Very friendly staff. Good bar menu and drink selection.
Great check in. We stayed an extra night which speaks volumes.
Room was lovely .
It was ridiculously hot weather so the room was very hot at night. A small fan to loan would have helped.
This is not a moan just little bit of feedback so you dont get moaning guests. A little cobweb in the bathroom ( i moved it easily) and used empty shower gels on the shower unit.
We were greeted and given easy access to our accommodation, even though we arrived late in the evening. There were complimentary soft drinks in the fridge.
No-one was around in the morning, all doors were locked and there was no breakfast provided even though we had specifically said we would want breakfast at 8am which was the advertised start time. No towels in one of the rooms, the shower was not very clean. The other room had an unpleasant smell.
Location within the pub and pretty beer garden, late check in and friendly staff, en-suite and in bedroom coffee making facilities
Shower lacked power, breakfast timings could have been earlier
Great location.
Nice proprietor
Very shabby room
Hard to get shower to work
Great village location. Helpful & friendly staff.
This used to be a beautiful pub in a beautiful location - but now very run down. Room very basic & took an hour to cook dinner. No fan or A/C on the hottest day of the year - but we did have our own, so not a problem!
Excellent host great food. Again. I keep returning as good service and value for money
Nothing
Gary the landlord and. Burts curry goat
Nothing
Did not have breakfast
The rooms were untidy, showers did not work first time, almost no furniture ither than bed. The rooms had distinct smell of urine, damp, etc.
Reasonable room rate
Very basic, other rooms noisy due to building construction. Missing sink plug and no hot water, room and bathroom need a deep clean
Engelse breakfast
De pub die er bij hoorde werd meteen opgenomen door de eigenaar en zijn gasten
Een stoel op de kamer
Good value and I liked that the rooms were separate from the pub.
Over two floors, which wasn't apparent when booking. Thin walls, so neighbours easily heard. Beware scalding water from the hot water tap. The chef seemed surprised when we turned up for breakfast. Initially asked if we could wait an hour (we couldn't) and then provided a good, if pricey breakfast, though the toast was a little anaemic and there was one butter pat for two slices (and no jam).
