a lovely place
Pros:

We love the view from our balcony, the staff are so friendly and provides kinds of helps, the staff will walk you around the property and introduce the room. it features very good home appliances like microwave oven, fridge, oven and washing machine. The room size is wide and open, we can see kid running in the room. there is a nice and peaceful shared garden down stairs. The location is just next to the traditional streets where you can easily to experience the heritages by walk, it is a lovely small town. The bed is really comfortable.

またお泊まりしたい宿
Pros:

ロケーションがとても良く、岡山美観地区観光に最高でした。一階部分には、夜呑み、朝ごはんを食べられるお店があったのもとてもよかったです。
洗濯乾燥機があり、とても便利です。
また、お部屋がとてもきれいで、広かったので快適に過ごすことができました。

Logement d’exception dans un quartier d’exception
Pros:

Logement magnifique, extrêmement bien situé. Il fait bon de flâner dans le quartier tant il est proche de tout. Le choix des meubles et la configuration du logement est parfaite, on se sentait vraiment privilégiés d’y passer la nuit. Bien que tout soit autonome (l’entrée comme la sortie), nous avons croisé du personnel qui était avenant, charmant et aux petits soins. Bref ce fut une très belle nuit, j’y reviendrais sûrement. Le balcon est aussi un très bel atout. Il y a aussi un stationnement public payant très proche du logement.

Cons:

Cela ne nous a pas posé de soucis mais il y a un escalier à l’entrée du logement. Cela peut être un peu fatiguant avec des valises mais rien de problématique.

Pros:

Such a beautifully thought out apartment we were so happy with everything and loved the traditional Japanese feel whilst also feeling luxurious. Amazing location right next to everything we wanted to see. Could not recommend this place more for a fabulous stay in Kurashiki.

Special place in the middle of Kurashiki
Pros:

Right in the middle of Bikan district. Perfect to explore the area. The room is actually a suite with a kitchen area, has a washer/dryer inside. It could work perfectly for a family with two or even three small children thanks to the couch/sofa bed. There is a breakfast restaurant in the first floor and a small 6 seat sake bar (not loud at all). The staff was super welcoming and helpful with local recommendations.

Cons:

Hotel is in a small alley and not accessible by car/taxi as the whole area is pedestrian only, so you will have to walk a block or two, so pack light. Also the room has steep and narrow stairs so beware of that or consider if you have trouble with that.

Would not recommend when weather is hot
Pros:

Property was well setup and in a lovely location. Staff were friendly and helpful when checking in.

Cons:

The aircon had been set to switch off after 1hr. This made our stay extremely uncomfortable as it was very hot during our visit (30c days and overnight also very warm). We needed the aircon to keep cool and it was annoying to have to keep getting up out of bed to switch it back on. Controls are all in Japanese and not easy to reset. I did try but was unsuccessful. Very unpleasant and unfortunate experience.
