Pros:

The location is perfect. We just needed a cheap place to stay for a night that is not a backpacker hostel and this is perfect for that.

Cons:

The main door at the foyer didn’t want to let us in. Lucky for us, a man arrived back at the same time and he had an idea to try the garage door since there is a door just by the elevator that leads to the parking lot, so we managed to get in. Luckily we didn’t have this issue later when we got back to the place.

Comfortable bed, great location, easy to get Ubers, easy check in and out, great deck/balcony, perfect for catching up with friends

Cons:

More chairs on the deck would be handy, no handle on inside of ensuite shower screen

Better than I was expecting
Pros:

Location and view from the rooftop was amazing. Staff where really helpful and let us in before our check in time.

Cons:

It was a bit tired and could be done with some updating but but was fine for a few days in the city

Exceptional Value for Money Apartment in the CBD Melbourne.
Pros:

Location & Value for money, with Helpful Friendly staff and Secure accommodation are the main reasons I enjoy staying at Harbour View Apartment Hotel. It offers all I need with the choice of so many public transport options, so close by. Big Coles supermarket is such a bonus, across the road, to get my apartment holiday needs Booking In & Out a very easy process. I look forward to my next stay..

Harbour View Apartments downfall to Arrow ownership
Pros:

Close to Southern Cross station and Coles Supermarket. On good team route on Spencer & LaTrobe Sts.
Beds were comfy,. Had 2 lifts. Aircon worked well to cool down room even on 45° Melbourne Day.

Cons:

Not as described, room wasn't disability friendly at all, climb over toilet to shut the door which didn't lock, climb into bath to shower. Microwave & crockery cupboards too high even for me at 5ft 6in. Full kitchen - one saucepan, one frying pan, no info on how to work oven or hotplates, Google for manual then only grill worked, hotplates not at all.
Definitely needs a makeover in bathroom and toilet maybe a sliding door for toilet would be better but still wouldn't be disability friendly. Needs repainting.
As a larger person I could not reach to use coin operated washing machine jamed in tiny laundry room. Torn carpet in lots of places.
I stayed many years ago when it was Harbour View Apartments it was beautiful. Now under the Arrow umbrella leaves a lot to be desired. I need to contact after hours for assistance, phone rang out 3 times then finally answered on fourth attempt by sister hotel in Melb who could not help just told to ring back in hour or visit from desk when it opened in an hr 10am and hung up on me. Person extremely hard to understand.

Overall a good stay for 2 nights. I would not recommend for a longer stay unless the issues mentioned are fixed.
Pros:

I had a very large apartment (1018). It was exceptionally clean on arrival and included everything I needed for my stay. The location was excellent and walking distance to most major sites. Staff were very friendly and helpful and my security deposit was returned quickly, despite me having to leave early at 4am.

Cons:

The room was clean but clearly very tired inside and needed refurbishment. There were some stains on the carpet and the sofa bed which clearly needed more attention and probably meant both needed replacing. The pillows were not good quality. On the upper terrace, bare wires were hanging out of one of the heating units. Okay for me but not if there were small children. Lastly the WiFi in my room did not work at all. I reported this twice via e-mail and also to the reception but it was never fixed. Meaning I had to use up my own data when needing internet access. Instructions for check in were not clear and it was not clear exactly when reception hours were. I luckily arrived as the reception was closing and so managed to get help. But saw many people struggling with check in when reception was closed.
