Very disappointing, outdated, poorly maintained will never stay here and we’ll never recommend it.
Pros:

It was close to Spencer Street, Southern Cross Station

Cons:

The name on the building on street level still said Harbourview Apartments being un from how you’re with this part of Melbourne it was difficult to find arrow on Spencer.

The room itself is very outdated. The walls have lots of paint patches and dents in from furniture or luggage being moved around. Rough, the carpet has several stains in it and even after a shower my feet got dirty by just walking across the carpet.

General cleanliness was poor the section between the tiles and the baseboards either has mould or has not been cleaned very well for a very long time. Neither had the shower door on the inside of the shower. Overall it was very disappointing and not worth the money charged.

When I arrived at my apartment, the balcony which was facing another building no harbour view whatsoever the glass sliding door was open a fraction seeing I was travelling by myself. This was very concerning.

The vending machine in reception had very little stock. There was no ice machine. There was no laundry facilities and no map of where you could get things in the local area again very disappointed as I have travelled in the Florida Street area and stayed at budget hotels for a lot less and got a lot more.

It should not be allowed to be advertised on Booking.com
Cons:

It was outdated, needs a complete makeover. Entire appt needs carpet to be changed, it was grimy and smelly and walls need to be painted and a new mattress needed. It had a terrible smell throughout and permeated our clothes after being there for the four nights,all the clothes had to be washed after being there.the balcony window and doors didnt close properly and let the street noise in worse than it should have been,it was a very poor experience

Pros:

We have been here for the third time.
The staff are very friendly. The furnishings of the accommodation are a bit outdated but clean.
The central location is great - 5 minutes to the Southerncross train station, 15 minutes to the center of Melbourne, 25 minutes to the botanical garden...

Pros:

Nothing carpets were torn, holes in doors, rotten timber from water damage charged me 100 dollar bond and the room was damaged and kitchen bench was damaged nothing like the photos upon booking heavily overcharged for a 1 star hotel/apartment not a 4 star

Pros:

From the moment we checked in with the lovely gentleman at the reception til check out our stay was great, I had requested when booking a high floor with a view and they delivered, we had a great apartment on the top floor with a wonderful balcony overlooking the city close to transport for our early morning flight, stayed here many times and definitely will again.

Delighted with value for money room
Pros:

Huge room over 2 levels with balcony. Great views. Helpful staff and easy car parking on site. Working lifts. Perfect location close to public transport.

Cons:

Building is older style but room comfortable and good value for the price. Bathrooms could use an update and could be a problem for longer stays. I would recommend bringing thongs for the shower.

It is good value and the location is excellent.

Cons:

Their website stated they had 24 hour front desk service and access. Not true. Seems they have another building elsewhere that does. It was a little stressful with phone calls, ID checks etc. to get in. They had sent some email instructions after their front desk closed, but I couldn't read emails until I did check-in.

Way above expectations
Pros:

Excellent value for money. Comfortable bed, strong hot shower, good wi-fi, quiet room and very clean.

Cons:

The reception isn't open 24 hours but that was not a problem for me.

Great value great location very friendly staff
Pros:

Beds were great as where the consumables. I think the carpet needs a good steam clean. Location was great for getting to the GP
