The fact it was in the in the high street, room was comfortable and staff very friendly

Pleasant stay. No major issues.

It was very central and close to shops and restaurants. The staff were also very helpful and friendly.

Comfortable, quiet room - good breakfast - excellent value for money. Staff friendly and considerate.

Cons:

Unavoidable, but the dozen or so changes of level in the first floor corridor, with 1-4 steps each time, was annoying with baggage.

Cons:

Car park impossible to find. No signage to help. Information email sent prior to stay was no help at all. Noisy plumbing during the night. Water pressure too powerful for sink so I got soaked when I switched the tap on.

Full English breakfast, quite satisfactory. Extremely kind and helpful staff who really helped me with everything I needed!

Arriving late at night with the train, too dark to walk from the station som had to take a taxi - hotel not all that close to the station
