Price it was a holiday weekend though
My best friend of over 40 years have been meeting here for the last 7 years
The rooms are very streamlined and comfortable
Staff is friendly
So accommodating for myself and husband and my service animal
I truly appreciate the kindness and comfort
I only wish other guests would be as considerate when picking up after themselves and their pets
This is a great little get away and I worry that some people not properly cleaning up after themselves will ruin their pet friendliness for the rest of us traveling to this little mountain top retreat
The housekeeping and staff already work hard enough to provide a comfortable stay for their guests
I would just remind people staying to always do your part so they are able to continue their incredible hospitality

Problems with plumbing and was not clean.
The staff is extremely accommodating. They seem to truly care about the comfort of their guests. The beds are very comfortable. My room has a private balcony with a beautiful view.
I wish the breakfast included healthier options. It includes mostly items with high carbs. The cups of yogurt are processed with high sugar and additives. They do have fresh bananas, which are good.
Most things that are very big in my comfort at a hotel. The clerk offered exceptional service and was very friendly and helpful. the room was spotless. I usually shun 2-3 star hotels/motels because of poor hygiene standards but this place was impeccable. I stayed because I was moving out of town and therefore my house was empty before closing but an added feature was the well kept grounds, pool and view. Far above what I have experienced in similar grade lodging. This hotel lived up to its ratings.
not unexpected for a budget style hotel but the towels and wash clothes were a bit ragged (never like to be reminded of how many people have stayed before me.
Coffee was good. Room clean. Liked TV channels. Good half way location. Check-in guy was nice.
Bed was flat and hard but somehow I slept well except for the a/c that made noises. The shower curtain did not fit the so water splashed onto the bathroom floor. The room above us made a lot of noise.
Location and the owner keeps the pool sparkling clean as well as the rooms love staying here
