Pros:

Great hotel, I loved staying here. Only short 5-10 min walk from centre, with just a slight incline. Staff were very nice & breakfast was lovely

Cons:

Like a lot of Portuguese accommodation, the 1 free socket in the room is never where you need it, first world problems. Oh and there was some fiddly remote control to turn on the electricity, which sometimes worked first time, but more often didn't.

Hotellet lå rigtig godt på den "modsatte"side af byen i forhold til mange andre hoteller, men med meget kort til centrum, gode restauranter og seværdigheder.

Cons:

Værelset var stort, men noget gammeldags. Der var ingen stik ved sengene og hårtøren fra 80'erne. De havde ikke noget strygejern og rengøringspersonalet sprang lidt over, hvor gærdet var lavt. Morgenmaden var fin, men spa området rigtig slidt og gammelt og poolen var ikke opvarmet, selvom der stod der. Det er ikke et 4 stjernet hotel men et fint 3 stjernet med en super lokation.

There were lovely sea views from the breakfast area & balcony
The bedroom was very clean & much larger than expected. It also had a balcony which was pleasant

Cons:

I found the bedroom cool every evening around 6.30. I asked if the heating could be switched on for a short time but was told there were issues in some of the bedrooms. I enquired the following day & was told my complaints had been noted
I asked if I could have a blow heater but was told this was not possible. In the end I asked for a bath robe which helped a little as the temperature does cool down in the evening. Also our room was at the front of the hotel & not getting sun like the sea facing rooms
Also there are no sockets around the bed for charging the mobile phone. This is a 4 star hotel so some of these basic requirements should be put in place immediately

poging om hun fout te compenseren door het aanbieden van schaal met fruit en fles cava.

Cons:

Vanwege een overboeking in het hotel kregen wij een ruimte buiten het hotel aangewezen, die niet voldeed aan een 4 sterrenwaardig hotel. Konden niet allemaal warm douchen, geen wifi, krappe badkamer waarbij de douchedeur moest openen om naar de WC te kunnen ivm beperkte ruimte

המיקום קרוב לעיר העתיקה ומוקדי הבילוי, גודל החדר ,חדר האוכל הנפלא והנראות הכללית של המלון כמו גם המרפסות והנוף לים. החניה סייעה לנו מאוד.

It was fair price for the amenities. The WiFi was good. Lively view from the room. Good breakfast

Cons:

The hotel is outdated. The fitness suite and the spa facilities are dirty and not acceptable. Do not book if you are planning to use this
