Charming atmosphere and vibes; really nicely decorated; excellent location; very comfortable bed; coffee making facilities in room; beautifully appointed bathroom and very clean.

Cons:

Street-level room opposite an Irish pub without double-glazing (not a huge deal in November but even so, it was noisy during the night!). Breakfast didn't quite meet expectations (all baked good were chilled, with one moderately proficient toaster; weak coffee); staff weren't very friendly. Pricey- but perhaps not for Newport!

Already planned our next visit to the Americas Cup Inn next month, can't wait to come back
Pros:

Quaint little inn, great location, wonderful staff, the cutest tea time in the afternoon, updated bathroom, plenty of choices for breakfast, free parking directly across the street.

Cons:

One minor issue, we checked in in the late afternoon and took advantage of the wonderful tea time in the cafe. The woman that checked us in was on FaceTime the entire time, even when she was restocking the snacks. If you've ever heard FaceTime on speaker phone, its extremely loud. Not a big deal, just a bit unprofessional.

Pros:

The location was so convenient to all the shopping ,restaurants and visitors center. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Tea time was a lovely bonus for a snack and cup of tea before heading out.

This is a lovely inn with a really impressive breakfast included!
Pros:

The location was perfect! Restaurants, parking and shopping right outside the door! The bathroom wall-in shower was huge with great water pressure.
