I liked the swimming pool water which is nice and warm but they need to be more careful with the floor by the entrance of the swimming pool area is so slippery
The swimming pool area specially the bathroom were so smelly and dirty , so much water in the floor I know is for people who are in the swimming area but they should have someone cleaning more frequently, also the bathrooms in the lobby were dirty no toilet paper for 2 days , little store by the lobby didn’t have any offering of snacks just a few , bathrooms in the room were dirty, they give us only 1 shampoo , soap bar , conditioner, for family of 5 , 2 sets of towels only , it’s nice for kids but they need better cleaning services.
The comfort of the bed. Convenient parking.
The room was dirty. Food on the floor around the bed. Hair in the shower on the walls. Was definitely not as described. Paid for the family suite, got 2 beds, 2 tvs(one didn't work half the time), a desk and chair, and a mini fridge that was stinky. It looked like they started remodeling the room and forgot to put everything back in it. There was no pull out sofa bed. No microwave. No, as they stste "lounge area" in the room. No on-site laundry facilities. Which is huge considering it's also an indoor water park. The only employee who was nice was the housekeeping lady. We went to the Safari Joe's to swim and were told it closed in 10 minutes when we arrived. Would open back up after they had their lunch. Closes every few hours. Kids swam and came back to the room. Changed, started walking to the arcade, and the lady rudely stated to my 9 year old, "I told you it's closed!!!" He stated he was going to the arcade, and as soon as she saw me, her attitude changed. It's definitely not worth the price. Also, a surprise $100 deposit that they say nothing about and just charge your card after you've already checked in. We ended up leaving a day early and going to a different hotel.
It is about 20 miles from South Haven which was our destination.
The trash outside the entrance was overflowing, and the elevator was quite a scary ride, sounding like it may break at any time. There are not coffee makers in the room, and there was no coffee in the breakfast area.
No shower working, room was dirty. Dust was everywhere couldn't even brush our teeth. Plus no swimming pool. You did not say that when booking.
Did not have the breakfast. Was not the cleanliest environment.
Room was not at all what I expected. Seemed thrown together with leftovers from other rooms. I rented a suite to get something nice for my wife and I but was completely let down.
That they are trying to renovate.
Cleanliness
Good breakfast.
Hundreds of Ants infestation in our room. Reported, some spray was evident by smell but did not kill the ants. No followup. We lived with them in the furniture and in the beds for all three nights. No checking by staff no offer to change our room. Luckily we only had to deal with them at night as we were there to visit with family. I contacted Booking.com who told me to contact the hotel which I did asking for an 1/2 refund. We were charged the holiday rate of over $800 and the hotel never responded.
Location and quite
Good location
It appears that the property was just recently purchased by Peachtree. Some updating was apparent, but lots of additional updating . the elevator linoleum had holes in the floor,. the elevator was a rough ride. The shower surround is old plastic. A small refrigerator sits on the floor behind the door. The receptionist also had to be the bartender.
It was pretty basic. I thought that there would be a safe and some water.
