Cleanliness, dusty skirting boards in room and bathroom.

Shower covered in limescale esp shower screens
Tiles in bathroom not cleaned.

Walls in bathroom were not clean evidence of rain damage on walls.

No evidence of it being hoovered prior to our visit.

Hair traps in shower filthy, nowhere to put shower bottles and on moving them black marks on shower tray.

Mirrors not cleaned

Finger marks on wall light by bathroom.

Shelves dusty and books very dusty.

When I plugged my phone charger in I looked down and skirting boards were black with dust and a takeaway lid was behind the bedside table.

Sink in bathroom not clean staining round taps.

Window ledge had dead spider and lots of dust.

This is false advertised. It us not a guest house but a room in someone’s house. The house is really dirty and smelling. When i arrived, the room was not cleaned and had to ask the host to clean. They had a cat pet which kept coming to my room. The hosts would leave the front door unlocked. The house is really dirty.

The room needs a good clean and a bit more care, unfortunately, I had to clean before I felt comfortable. NO WIFI.

No blinds on the Velux windows meant it was very light early morning. Rather hot in summer

When I booked it I thought that it was a guest house, B&B. It was not that at all. It was the attic of a private home.

The greeting by their receptionist was horrendous! I was helping to check in my relatives (from the USA) in at 9pm (I’d warned the hotel we would be arriving about that time). We had travelled from Lincolnshire, where my dog had been sitting for over 2 hours whilst travelling. I thought it would be nice for her to be able to stretch her legs. She is part of Guide Dogs and helps numerous times to fundraise for them. She was on her lead and had her Ambassador Guide Dog coat on. The receptionist at first was preoccupied with her phone and when I eventually got her attention, she shouted at me to take the dog out, disregarding her Guide Dog coat and screamed several times at me to again take her out! She repeatedly screamed whilst I tried to explain that this dog would not bother her. I eventually had to ask to see her manager, who was very helpful; but unfortunately she too got shouted at by the receptionist!

The house smelt of food the carpet was very dirty- I went into the room and came straight out as it was cluttered messy and the shower/en-suite had personal belongings in
