Luxurious Apartment 3 Mins from KLCC Petronas view

We have been cheated! The owner recommended another accommodation and required us to cancel this luxurious apartment booking and we called up booking.com for a refund on 2 Jun but nothing has been done. Later on, the owner promise he would refund us after he received the monies from booking.com. We paid total of RM1134.60 for a night stay (RM534.60 that we did not stay and nothing has been refunded, another accommodation RM600 via bank transfer)

No parking provided. Room smelly. Aircon only 1 unit funtional.

Very disappointing!! Definitely not worth the money and definitely not luxurious. There was empty condom wrapper under the bed, whole apartment was really dirty including the kitchen, sofa and bathroom. The previous visitors must have smoked a lot, because the cigarettes smell was terrible. There was no toilet paper in the bathroom, the towels smelled weird as well. We weren ´t able to switch the rooms or change the hotel because we have arrived really late.

The unit was very dirty. The pillows were very thin. Sofa cushion dirty. Kitchen was dirty. Smelly bathroom . No parking available

The apartment that we stay untidy, no proper packaging of toiletries to use, no clean towel and it's old..

I would like to see some more kitchen supplies, like a pan and coffemachine

Only criticism is that it would benefit from a few more items of crockery and cutlery.

There could be more furniture to improve the decor but certainly okay as it is.

We booked and paid full in advance for 2bedrooms apartment for 3d2n, specifically so we dont have to move our stuff around in between the stay.

We were given 1bedroom apartment for the first night, he convinced us we’ll be moved to 2bedrooms apartment the next day. The second day we were moved to another apartment, which means we had to pack our stuff and moved to the next building. He only tells us then that it’s just another 1bedroom apartment. In conclusion, we paid for 2bedrooms but were given 1bedroom apartment. Plus had to move around in between stay (he initially said they’ll help us move the stuff but we end up had to do so ourselves).

The way he communicated all this is by telling us the real deal (that they could not provide us 2bedrooms) around 5.30pm on the check in day so there’s no way for us to book another place, we’re already half way to get there.

Another trouble when washing machine in the 1st night apartment didnt even work, glad the 2nd one worked but it left us with little time to sort and pack everything up.

After the bad experience he agreed to refund us the price gap (because we paid for 2bedrooms but had to stay in 1bedroom), but kept delaying it. By now it had been 3weeks and we still havent received any payback from him (he says ‘tomorrow’ everytime I get back to him) at this point I believe I’ve got scammed.

Room Description

Host didn’t seem to have the correct permissions for our room. Meant that our room key wouldn’t let us up the lift. Security very unhelpful which meant almost daily we had to wait for Mo to meet us in the lobby and buzz us up. This cumulatively ate hours out of our long weekend trip to the city.

Initial directions to the property were a bit confusing and checkout was not well coordinated causing us to have to return back to the property to meet host after leaving for sightseeing (since host missed initial time we requested). We also had to wait 30 minutes upon return to retrieve our luggage. Room could have been cleaner. Cash deposit was requested at check in but was not noted in listing.

The environment is dirty and the air conditioner does not work. Package is poor.

The apartment should be cleaned better. Our bett sheet was crumpled, giving the suggestythat it wasn’t changed after the last guest. Bathroom mirror had smirk and not just on a spot. There was dust in some places and TV didn’t work properly over the internet.
For the price we paid it was satisfactory.

The check-in was a pain, no instruction received and luckily we had a Malaysian SIM card so we could make calls. You have to pay a deposit for the key.

The apartment was not clean, hair in the shower, shower drain and cutlery drawer. Stains on the floor and mirror. There were still slippers from others. Duvet cover had stains and the sheet had not been changed (there was still a book underneath from the previous tenants). There was no toilet paper, 1 cup and 2 glasses.... After reporting nothing was done about it!

Check-in process is a bit cumbersome, it's a bit like airbnb check-in, contacting a guy on whatsapp on arrival for him to come meet you, also my room wasn't cleaned properly, for example the bathroom bin was full from stuff from previous guest.

Property was not clean. I found a condom wrapper in the bathroom which I will omit from the photos, hair in the drain that meant the water didn’t drain and we had to remove it ourselves. Water was not hot, warmish at best. It says it’s meant to be an apartment with a kitchen however there was extremely limited utensils to actually do anything with in the kitchen. One filthy pot to cook with. There was no bin bags, no paper towel, two rolls of toilet paper and we were there for over a week. Yucky slippers that have been clearly warn and washed heaps of times. No duvet or cover for the second bedroom and had to ask for it when we realised. Has enough room to sleep four people but only enough plates and cups etc for two.  No iron or ironing board. Nothing to sweep the floor or clean with if you wanted to tidy up.
No instructions on where to put the rubbish or how to work any of the appliances. No instructions to explain that you had to turn the hot water on before you could have warmish water.

Unit has great potential but it’s missing a lot of things.
