Friendly staff and Good Stay!
Pros:

The bathroom was really good and I found the staff really friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The pillows were not very comfy and made my neck a bit sore. I also found that a noisy family were put in a room next to me and woke me up really early on more than one occasion. Better sound proofing the walls would be great.

Smelly Dirty Room
Pros:

The location and the hotel interiors. Quality of Breakfast was great

Cons:

The room smelled like cigarettes. Probably the guest who stayed before us was a smoker and the room was cleaned and sanitized correctly. We also found a dirty sock in the room who belonged to someone else.

Besonderes historisches Art Deko Hotel in interessanter Gegend
Pros:

Hochinteressantes historisches Art Deco - Gebäude mit sehr viel Originalbestand und Gegenständen .Hoechst eindrucksvoll.
Guter freundlicher Service.
In Uni- Gegend und direkt an der " Spicey Alley".
An den Aufenthalt werden wir uns lange positiv erinnern.

Cons:

Zahnbecher im Bad wären schön - und evtl. ein Aschenbecher in der Nähe einer der beiden Eingänge.

Pros:

Loved the unique fit out of the room. The bed was super comfortable. The location was excellent, close to central station and walking distance from the tram and city centre. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had breakfast included in our stay which was delicious.

Cons:

Parking is a bit of a challenge.

Pros:

I received a complimentary room upgrade upon arrival, which initially gave me hope for a pleasant stay. Unfortunately, everything went downhill from there.

Cons:

The room was in unacceptable condition. The walls were visibly stained, the carpets had multiple marks, and the overall cleanliness was far below what any reputable hotel should offer — let alone one claiming to be 5-star. The hot water took an excessively long time to heat up, which is basic functionality that should not be an issue at this level.

Housekeeping was consistently incompetent. On the first morning, I placed the cleaning sign on my door before leaving. When I returned at 3 PM, the room had not been touched. Only after calling reception was someone sent up — and even then, they replaced the towels with ones that had holes in them. This is completely unacceptable.

The rooftop area was extremely outdated and poorly maintained. Stains were visible throughout the space, and dirty glasses were left sitting around for extended periods. The atmosphere felt neglected and unprofessional rather than luxurious.

The minibar was never restocked during my stay, which again reflects a lack of basic service standards.

On the second day, despite once again placing the housekeeping sign on the door, the room was still not cleaned by 4 PM. I had to contact reception yet again. The replacement towels that day were stained. Providing visibly dirty linens to guests is shocking and inexcusable.

Room service operates only until 11 PM, and the food quality was mediocre at best — certainly not what one would expect from a hotel marketing itself as high-end
