Lovely hotel in a brilliant location. I enjoyed my stay in Chippendale and will return.
Pros:

The staff were lovely and the location was brilliant. I loved the décor and the feel of the place, particularly the main downstairs bar. The rooms were well designed, spacious and very comfortable.
I would recommend a stay in Chippendale which was a much more vibrant and interesting area than I remember if being 10 years ago. White Rabbit Gallery is within 5 minutes walk, there are excellent restaurants and bakeries within minutes of the hotel and Spice Alley is a lot of fun.
The hotel is within 5 minutes walk of Central station and transport by train and tram to other parts of the city was easy.

Cons:

I couldn't open any of the windows and I find it very hard to sleep without fresh air. It also meant that the room felt very musty and stuffy when I arrived. To be fair it was a short stay so I didn't bother reception for a window key and the air conditioning was really good so I was easily able to get the room to a comfortable temperature.

Location is fantastic, style and décor is great but cleanliness is terrible.
Pros:

Good size room and the high ceilings were nice. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were some of the better I have experienced at a hotel.

Cons:

Unfortunately the cleanliness of this place was about as bad as we had experienced in any hotel we had stayed. There was black mould on the ceiling in the shower. The bed head had the thickest layer of dust on top. The was heaps of dust sitting on top of the light fixtures and around the air vents in the room. We could quite noticeably smell the dust and felt it in our lungs after a night sleeping there.

Pros:

The property is amazing. Excellent location. Super comfortable bedding. Cleanliness 10/10.

Cons:

Only one minor complaint. Ordered champagne and chocolates for the room and paid $100 for this. Didn’t receive the chocolates.

Cool boutique hotel in a great location
Pros:

Great location next to spice ally and short walk from Central station. Cool, industrial boutique hotel vibe.

Cons:

Frosted Glass walls between bedroom and shower/toilet. Would prefer solid walls for more privacy.

Pros:

Great sized rooms, nice and clean, plenty of space, friendly staff. The food was nice!

Cons:

I came back to the hotel late at night and almost couldn't get into the hotel. Had to flag someone down who happened to be walking past the entrance. Would be nice to have some instructions or signage for hotel guests for what to do if accessing after hours.

The hotel needs to work on few minor details in terms is cleaning and additional amenities. However, overall it was a go
Pros:

The location was great. The room was comfortable and the breakfast was very generous.

Cons:

The room was a bit dusty and has a musky smell. No toothbrush or toothpaste provided. The checking in was a bit cumbersome. Had to check in online but didn’t really make the arrival any more seamless.
