Great Central place to stay
Pros:

Location, beds very comfy, nice spacious apartment, hot shower, great host, who really took the time to chat with us and giving us great information about the area, etc.

Cons:

The noise. The streets of Thamel are very noisy all throughout the night. I don't think it matters which accommodation you book, unless you have a sound-proof room, you won't escape it. Nexus Inn is in a side street, but it was still noisy.

Lovely stay in the heart of Thamel
Pros:

Pricing you can't go wrong here..excellent price for a lovely central location in Thamel and without the street noise. The facility has everything you need; fridge, stove, microwave, kettle. Additionally, you do not hear what's going on in the rooms nearby.It was quiet at night because it was on the third floor so I heard no street noise. The hosts were always willing to help in whatever way they could. The apartment was very close to lots of shopping, restaurants, and just about everything inside a quiet street.

Cons:

What I didn't like was sometimes I would bump my head forgetting the doorway in between the kitchen and bedroom was s bit low and needed to bend a bit because of my height. Also due to the building not receiving much sun it was a bit cold but the host provided a heater. I only mentioned this because from my understanding the hotel in Nepal charge a different price for rooms with a heater and those without. This is solely for those travelling to Nepal, ask first . I am not sure if my room came with a heater or not but the host was nice enough to provide one. Other than this i would highly recommend it especially for the small price and an entire kitchen.
