Overall stay 2.5 out 5 stars.
Pros:

Overall, Hotel Lydia was an okay stay, but there were several disappointing aspects of our visit. The cleanliness was acceptable, but the breakfast was not what I expected. It was advertised as breakfast, but it only consisted of cold items and did not feel like a true continental breakfast.

Cons:

The front desk staff were not very friendly or welcoming. They seemed more focused on rushing guests through check-in rather than providing information about the hotel or making us feel comfortable. Since we stayed in the older facility, it would have been helpful if someone had taken the time to explain the amenities, layout, or any important details about the property.

I came to celebrate my child’s birthday, and unfortunately the overall experience felt impersonal. It seemed like nobody really cared about making our stay special or ensuring we felt welcomed. While the hotel was adequate, the customer service left a lot to be desired.

Great hotel, disappointing booking dispute
Pros:

The hotel itself was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The front desk staff were friendly, understanding, and did their best to assist when I explained the duplicate reservation issue.

Cons:

My concern is not with Hotel Lydia itself but with the handling of my duplicate reservation through Booking.com and OYO. I requested cancellation of the duplicate room within minutes of booking, but weeks later the issue remains unresolved despite multiple calls and emails. Booking.com continues to state they are waiting for a response while additional payments remain scheduled. I hope this matter is resolved promptly because my experience at the hotel itself was positive.

Muy limpio, olía muy bien, la cama muy cómoda!

Cons:

No tenían máquina de hielo, en ninguno de los dos edificios, según hacía 6 meses que se descompuso y no la han podido reemplazar, el desayuno solo dura dos horas de 6 a 8 am, y es muy básico café, fruta, cereal.Te ponen en la foto el nuevo edificio y cuando llegas tu reservación es en el viejo edificio y te dicen que si quieres en el nuevo edifico son 45 dlls más.

Great hotel!
Pros:

Very clean 🫧, I really did like everything it was my second visit to the hotel. I took my two kids for a father's day weekend. They are both 9 so they are little still but the hotel is very kid friendly and we had a great time.

Cons:

My room wasn't ready on time, but outside of that the hotel is great.

Cons:

Two separate buildings with one of them not having elevator. Wasn’t clear which hotel did or didn’t have elevator. No staff at secondary building. Overpriced for what it is.

Clean Hotel in Great Location
Pros:

Room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Bed was very comfortable. We had no problem getting the basics we needed such as fresh towels or room cleaning when needed. Staff accommodated or request for a 1st floor room due to no elevator. Location is great.

Cons:

No pool or ice machines. Room was pricey considering lack of other amenities such as a pool, ice machines (instead we had to buy ice), and mediocre breakfast items.

Pros:

The decoration is beautiful , and it’s close to mostly everything right next to the port entrance

Cons:

The smell going in smelt like humid and construction , went into the room and I tried to put up some small groceries in the fridge but it had mold inside so just decided to keep it In Our cooler .

Pros:

It was cheap when I booked months in advance.

Cons:

They tried to cancel my booking after I had paid in full and booked in February, almost leaving us stranded.

Rooms were musty, extremely humid, smelled like dogs.
