Excellent hotel in sunny spot
Pros:

Really excellent hotel with small, friendly team of staff. The South coast location meant that it was generally sunny here even when it was rainy or foggy further inland. Nice restaurant and excellent breakfast. Quite a calm vibe with mostly couples or older family groups staying. Pool area always had space. Ponta do Sol village has a few different food options and is convenient for the main ring road and day trips around the island. Would return and recommend.

Sehr tolle Lage, Poolbereich sehr gepflegt. Gutes Frühstück, hätten uns noch etwas mehr Früchte gewünscht. Große und geräumige Zimmer und bequeme Betten. Ein umfangreiches Angebot an Freizeitaktivitäten seitens des Hotels.

Très bien mais pourrait être exceptionnel si le ménage était fait correctement
Pros:

L'emplacement en surplomb du charmant village de Ponta do Sol est fabuleux. Les plats du dîner sont d'excellente qualité. Le personnel est très sympathique et le service est très efficace. Un point que nous avons particulièrement apprécié est la possibilité de commander la veille, un pique-nique pour midi. Très bon avec le choix du sandwich et très copieux avec eau, jus de fruits et gateau.
Excellent petit déjeuner avec beaucoup de choix.

Cons:

Le ménage est très mal fait dans les chambres. Ce n'est pas normal pour un hôtel de ce standing.
Vu l'emplacement, il est logique d'avoir des escaliers pour arriver dans les différents bâtiments. Cependant les escaliers sont suffisamment larges pour qu'une rampe puisse être créée pour ne pas avoir à porter les bagages. C'est aussi cela qui différencie un hôtel standard, d'un hôtel de belle classe.

Pros:

Location - placed on the nose of a rock it provides an exceptional view over the sea.
Wide variety of different breakfast items - daily dalternate egg dishes at breakfast.

Cons:

As no Hotel parking ground, at night difficult to park the car near the hotel.
We had to use 3 different elevators on different levels to reach our bedroom.

Enjoyable stay at a friendly welcoming hotel. The location is stunning.
Pros:

The location of this hotel is amazing with exceptional views of the pretty village below and coastline. The staff are very friendly and the gardens are immaculate. We had one meal there which was good and breakfast was lovely with fresh fruit, continental choices and cooked options. They had plenty for all tastes.

Fantastiskt, åker vi tillbaka till Madeira vill vi bo där igen.
Pros:

Underbart trevligt hotell, kändes lyxigt, fin arkitektur men ändå hemtrevligt. Trevlig bar. Underbar middag och frukost. Spektakulär utsikt.
