Part from colour absolutely nothing. Would never book again

As soon as I entered the first room there was a very strong sewage smell. It was immediately noticeable. I contacted the property through the messaging system since there is no reception at all, and they moved me to another room. The speed with which they changed the room gave the impression that this might already have been a known issue.

The biggest problem, however, was the size of the rooms. I have honestly never stayed in a room this small. It genuinely felt more like a grave than a hotel room. The space was extremely cramped and very uncomfortable.

The bathrooms were even worse. In the first room, the toilet was partially under the sink, making it almost impossible to sit properly. In the second room, the toilet was not under the sink, but the bathroom was still so small that a slightly larger person would struggle to even fit inside. The bath mat they provided was actually bigger than the available floor space in the bathroom.

The bed was also extremely small, even smaller than a standard single bed. Overall, the entire room felt extremely cramped and poorly designed.

Another inconvenience was the access system. There is no reception and everything is controlled through an online system. Unlocking the room requires going through the website each time, which is quite inconvenient. It also raises the question of what happens if someone’s phone battery dies.

It felt very much like every possible cost had been cut to save money, but despite that, the room was not particularly cheap for what was offered.

Only thing that would have made room more comfortable would have bern a small armchair as no where to sit in room.

There were some ants in my bathroom and the walls of the downstairs room were super thin.

Checked in at 14:00. The room smelled like urine & sewage. I opened the window and went out. Came back in the evening and it still smelled like urine & sewage. I contacted the staff via the BOB W. WhatsApp. And concluding they weren’t able to move me to another room since they were booked out. They didn’t offer to sent someone.

The smell was really bad and also contains a health risk.

The next day, they sent in staff and cleaned it and opened the window. The smell was still there after I pushed for them to check again. Staff agreed that it smelled like urine & sewage. Only after that they were willing to move me.

No excuses nothing for even checking someone into that room.

The next room was even worse as it had mold all over the bathroom. (See pictures)

Next to that, the carpet in the hallways was stained throughout the whole hotel + the elevator wasn’t working. (Please read other reviews stating that elevator is not working, it hasn’t been working for months. Yet they claim it is almost resolved everytime).

They offered me a 15% refund on the first night as they feel this is a ‘fair solution’.

I would highly NOT recommend staying here.

Very small and the online check in using your phone was so hard / inconvenient took about 3 mins each time

Room was on the lower ground floor and on arrival the corridor was filled with rubbish bags and the hallway carpets were badly stained. There was a small green light on the ceiling of the room that created a lot of light at nighttime and made it difficult to sleep.
