Friendly Staff and Modern Room with Convenient Location in Datong
Pros:

The hotel impressed me with its friendly staff and quick check-in process. The room exceeded my expectations — it was modern and equipped with the latest technology. The location is convenient, close to Datong South Railway Station. I especially liked the tropical shower and automatic curtains.

Cons:

I did not take breakfast, so I can’t comment on it. A tip for guests: most cafes in Datong are closed from 11 am to 4 pm due to their midday nap.

Instalaciones muy modernas, y buffet estupendo
Pros:

Las instalaciones están muy bien. Muy moderna toda la decoración.
Tiene lavadora y secadora gratuitas, a nosotros nos fue fenomenal.
También tiene gimnasio, aunque no tuvimos tiempo de probarlo.
El desayuno buffet está genial. Incluye tanto platos orientales como occidentales.
Muy recomendable.

Cons:

No está muy céntrico, pero en realidad esto no es problema, ya que con Didi está todo muy accesible y con buenos precios.

Chambre de standing confortable
Pros:

La chambre était tout confort et bien équipée en dernières technologies ! Le petit déjeuner était varié et copieux. Le personnel à la réception était adorable car ils ont essayé de nous aider sur toutes nos demandes, malgré la barrière de la langue.

Cons:

Nous avons envoyé un message pour connaître le prix de leur navette pour arriver ou alors qu’ils nous expliquent comment prendre le bus et ils nous ont répondu deux jours après notre départ … ce que nous avons trouvé parfaitement déplorable !
Par ailleurs l’hébergement est assez loin du centre et donc un peu cher pour sa localisation.

Exceptional value - modern clean hotel. Circa 2024 built
Pros:

The room was very clean and modern. Well thought out design with well placed lighting and power receptacles. Also appreciated the fact the floors are laminate flooring. Much easier to clean and avoid the dirty carpet syndrome of other hotels

Cons:

Would have been been nice if there was a small bar fridge. There is a cabinet enclosure built for a bar fridge...but no bar fridge installed

Despite the staff’s efforts, the dusty bed made for an uncomfortable stay.
Pros:

The staff kindly informed me that there is no non-smoking room in this hotel as they just changed their policy. After I insisted on needing one, the lady at the front desk tried her best to find a room she claimed had never been used before. Thankfully, there was no smell of smoke in that room.

Cons:

This hotel changed the policy from the day of my booking and does not offer non-smoking rooms anymore, but the staff mentioned they could convert a smoking room into a non-smoking one upon request. While my duplex room looked elegant, the bed felt dusty, making it uncomfortable. I struggled to sleep due to itching and eventually had to move to the couch in the living room for the nights.

ok for short visit
Pros:

Room is what you would expected from this price/stars level. Nothing to complain about. Choice of breakfast meals was ok,

Cons:

Hotel is located at the far side of the town although there are decent bus connections. Staff can speak zero English, they were try to be helpful and were nice, but still this is not what you'd expect from a hotel belonging to a global chain. They do not accept non-Chinese credit cards

Good comfortable stay
Pros:

Comfortable clean rooms, sufficient and easy-to-use washing machines in the laundry room, good breakfast spread, spacious and well designed common areas

Cons:

Very small gym with only one treadmill, location is a bit far to walk to any shopping or dining areas, best reachable by taxi and not by public transport
