Such a beautiful setup, just a shame that they are so spread out which greatly affects the service.
Pros:

Location was fantastic, such a pretty little town, and quiet.

Cons:

Both the restaurant and bar service was appallingly slow, after ordering food we waited over an hour for our starter, drinks were really slow, and they totally forgot our order at one point.

Grand chambre donnant sur une rue calme, bien équipée. Le petit déjeuner était exceptionnel: de très bons produits de la région et très variés. Nous recommandons cette adresse.

Heel mooie kamer en een schitterend ontbijt.
Pros:

We hadden de Himmelreich kamer, een mooie ruime kamer. Zeer proper ook. Bij aankomst kreeg je gratis wijn. Het ontbijt was meer dan voortreffelijk. De ontvangst was vriendelijk.

Cons:

Voor wie met veel bagage reist kan het best een gedoe zijn. Het hotel heeft 2 (kleine) parkings die op verschillende locaties liggen. Ook zijn de kamers verspreid over meerdere gebouwen in de straat. Maar ook dit heeft z’n charme natuurlijk

The hotel is very charming and clean, and it is located in a beautiful town. The room was clean, and the facilities were well maintained. A great addition was the outdoor area. I highly recommend the hotel's restaurant, which serves excellent Riesling wine and delicious game dishes.

Cons:

The breakfast was good; however, the breakfast area was rather cramped. We may have been there during peak hours.

Unsere Suite war aussergewöhnlich schön. Dir Weinkarte ist hervorragend. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Das Personal an der Rezeption und beim Frühstücks-Service war super freundlich.

Cons:

Das Service Personal im Restaurant war an beiden Abenden völlig am Schwimmen, wir haben uns überhaupt nicht willkommen gefühlt.

Hyggelige og moderne værelser, restaurant mm.
Fantastisk morgenmad med regionale og produkter af egen produktion. Righoldigt udvalg.
Egen restaurant med god mad.
Stedet har forståelig nok modtaget en del priser for stedet.
Beliggenheden ca 6 km fra Bernkastel og gode cykel og vandrestier langs Mosel og vinmarkerne .
STOR ANBEFALING HERFRA.

Cons:

Nogle vil måske synes prisen for overnatning med morgenmad er i den høje ende. 1250 for billigste værelse.
Men man fik fuld valuta for pengene.

Ein fantastischer Aufenthalt
Pros:

Es war alles absolut herausragend! Der herzliche Empfang, die fantastischen sehr großen Zimmer, die Lage und dann noch das grandiose Frühstücksbüfett. Alles ist so liebevoll und stilvoll eingerichtet, dass man am liebsten da bleiben möchte. Wirklich traumhaft schön und nicht zu toppen ! Wir hatten leider nur eine Übernachtung aber wir werden ganz sicher wieder kommen.

Es gibt rein gar nichts zu beanstanden!

Top-Empfehlung an der Mosel

Ein Hotel, das man mit bestem Gewissen weiterempfehlen kann!

Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir außergewöhnlich herzlich empfangen. Die Freundlichkeit und Gastfreundschaft der Gastgeber und des gesamten Teams ziehen sich wie ein roter Faden durch den gesamten Aufenthalt – hier fühlt man sich wirklich willkommen.

Das Frühstück ist schlichtweg sensationell! Besonders hervorzuheben sind die hausgemachten Wurst- und Schinkenspezialitäten aus eigener Produktion. So viel Qualität, Regionalität und Liebe zum Detail findet man nur noch selten. Allein dafür lohnt sich der Aufenthalt.

Ein absolutes Highlight war für uns die gebuchte VW-Bulli-Tour. Sie hat riesigen Spaß gemacht, war hervorragend organisiert und ist eine tolle Möglichkeit, die wunderschöne Moselregion auf eine ganz besondere Art kennenzulernen. Diese Tour können wir wirklich jedem Gast uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Vielen Dank an die großartigen Gastgeber für dieses unvergessliche Wochenende. Wir kommen ganz sicher wieder!
