Overall, we had a really good stay at S Residence.
Pros:

The location was one of the highlights—it felt much safer compared to other areas in Manila, which gave us peace of mind, especially as we were traveling with a baby. The building is conveniently situated with easy access to shops and essentials, making it very practical for a family stay.

The unit itself had a small kitchen, which made it easier to prepare baby food and manage our child’s needs during the trip. It was cozy and functional, and we felt comfortable throughout our stay.

The host was absolutely wonderful—very responsive, friendly, and accommodating. I had a few last-minute changes, and he handled them all with such flexibility and grace. The staff and security in the building were also friendly and helpful, which added to the overall positive experience. (it's been a while since I met such friendly people 🥹)

We genuinely felt well taken care of, and for families or anyone looking for a short, comfortable stay in the city, this place is a great option.

Cons:

Overall, the place was okay, but some of the furniture felt a bit much. For example, the carpet near the console wasn’t very baby-safe—my little one tripped on it a couple of times. I don’t blame the host at all, but perhaps a more minimalist setup could help make the space feel safer and more open, especially for guests with kids.

Some furniture and items in the unit are starting to show signs of wear, so a bit of maintenance or refresh would definitely help enhance the experience. A few nice decorations are great, but overall comfort and safety should come first.
