Convenient but filthy
Pros:

Staff were great. It was good being able to use the gym and pool. And it's handy to stay there if you have an event at the conference centre.

Cons:

Dirty. My ketal had a bogie on it.
The bathroom had hair in it and they only clean around things. Eg if you move the tea try it is filthy underneath.
There is no lamp so you have a horrible bright white light.
The windows don't open and it's so stuffy. When I asked about this they said "there is a fan". There is no fresh air what so ever as the hall way has no windows either. The room is very dark and the pillows are so uncomfortable.

Good, functional accommodation and nice, friendly staff.
Pros:

Really convenient location. Everywhere was very clean and staff really friendly.

Cons:

My bedroom was clean and functional but the mattress left a lot to be desired. Could feel the springs and it was very uncomfortable. I felt that there should have been a bottle of water left in the room. The food was also very ‘samey’ every day and I thought the evening meals were not worth what they charged.

Good practical venue at excellent price.
Pros:

Great practical location. Not really a hotel as such, but good, comfortable rooms. The buildings have huge ceiling heights, like being in some government building. We attended for a gaming event and it was extremely convenient. Food is decent. Staff are very helpful and accommodating.

Cons:

You have to time your meal breaks carefully as the centre runs large training courses. Arrive at the wrong time and a huge classroom will have just emptired, causing a long queue.

Pros:

It was clean and easy to find. The parking was free and the breakfast was really rather good.

The rooms had everything one would need for a short stay.

Cons:

It was spread over a large area and the spa and pool were opposite the main building.

The rooms were small and most of the free view channels were not tuned in so you could only watch channels 1 to 5 and the itv2 etc.

Really, 5 USA, Yesterday etc could not be watched.

There were better accommodations in the area for the same money or less.

Staff are wonderful!
Pros:

The staff were wonderful, very helpful and knowledgeable.
The breakfast was also great, big selection and very tasty!
Rooms were very spacious and iIt was also good that we could use the swimming pool just across the road.

Cons:

The rooms were a little outdated and need a little work.
It was abit weird when walking to the room in the daytime, , having trolleys full of laundry in the corridors and all the doors open to the washing machine/dryer areas and other areas where cleaning staff work - normally this is hidden at other places.
Unfortunately there was some events going on at the time of our stay and the guests weren't considerate of others so were shouting around when walking down the corridors late at night and very early morning, meaning we didn't get much sleep.

Cons:

There was only one staff member at reception, even though a big number of arrivals was scheduled. The lift to the room was not working, so I had to lift my luggage on the stairs.
