Loved the hotel itself ,very cool and a bit spooky at the same time
Pros:

Loved the decor of the hotel, so cool to see all the wee touches.
Shout out to our lovely restaurant hostess, didn’t get her name but she was amazing as the power went out in the middle of dinner ,the restaurant had a kids birthday party going on and other dinners, she was so cool calm and collected, we soon had beautiful candles on the table which added to the over alll feel of the place , and the staff did as good as they could in the kitchen to get us something to eat,

Cons:

Found the stair way a bit dark,
Sadly featherston didn’t have much to offer with nothing really open, such a shame as it would have made our time there more exciting

Very pleasant stay. Friendly staff and good food.
Pros:

This hotel is old and has a nice architecture. Very easy to find as it is just at the entrance of Featherston.

Cons:

Maybe the room we stayed in could be a bit bigger?

I booked because I love art deco, and wasn't disappointed.
Pros:

Loved the decor. Great attention to detail.

Cons:

It had a bad musty smell of an old pub when we walked in. The stairs could do with a deep clean.

The rooms were so awesome such cool decor, the man who checked us in was amazing! So friendly and helpful nothing was a problem. Delivered an iron to our room. The best service I’ve experienced in a long time.

The Duty Manager at the time of our stay was lovely, friendly and obliging
The rooms were lovely, not particularly big but ample for a couple of nights - shower was awesome

Cons:

Would have been nice to have coffee & a bite at any time, but totally understand not being available 24/7 in these economic times

Had a fantastic stay in a really charming hotel - we stopped off on route to Martinborough and so glad we did.
Pros:

The room we had was amazing - really large and beautifully furnished. The food was outstanding and the staff awesome.

Charming and lovely hotel to stay in.
Pros:

A beautiful hotel with lots of quirky charm and beautifully decorated rooms and bathrooms. Very comfy beds and lovely Victorian style baths with excellent shower. Also had very nice meal in the Brac and Bow restaurant and bar. Lovely staff and ambiance.

Cons:

There was nothing we didn’t like.
