Important information:

Please note that check-in takes place at Pierre & Vacances La Rivière. Reception is open from Sunday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM, and on Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM. Guests expecting to arrive outside reception opening hours are kindly requested to inform the property in advance. Contact details can be found on the booking confirmation.

The price includes accommodations, bed linen and TV. For short stays of one to six nights, end-of-stay cleaning is included, excluding the kitchen area and dishes. After booking, guests may reserve the exact location of their accommodations by contacting the residence directly, subject to availability and at an additional cost.

The following services are available at an extra charge: beds made upon arrival, towels and end-of-stay cleaning. A grocery delivery service is available during the winter season and charges apply. Paid parking is available subject to availability, at a rate of EUR 55 per week in winter and EUR 50 per week in summer; guests are kindly requested to contact the residence directly to check availability.

For any invoice request, please note that invoices are issued under the name stated on the reservation. If the total amount of the reservation is not paid within the timeframe specified in the policies, the property reserves the right to cancel the booking and apply cancelation fees. Please note that any modification may incur additional charges. Credit card is the only accepted method of payment.

In July and August, Pierre & Vacances offers activities to fully enjoy the mountain environment. In Chamonix, guests receive a EUR 40 activity voucher per apartment, offered for stays of a minimum of seven nights, to be used with the partner Evolution 2 Chamonix. The voucher is provided upon arrival and can be redeemed for a wide range of outdoor activities such as rafting, canyoning, mountain biking, hydrospeed and hiking. Activities are subject to prior registration and availability. As these activities are organized by independent partners of Pierre & Vacances, the program may be subject to change.
This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.

Isolation quasi inexistante
Pas de soucis pour la température avec le chauffage mais par rapport au bruit, on se sent direct dans la rue (et on était au 4eme etage!)
Ce serait bien d'avoir un petit lave linge plutôt qu'un lave vaisselle
Ascenseur en panne pour la première partie du séjour

The location was good. Close to a bus stop, aiguille du midi and grocery stores. The kitchen was good, had everything in it for cooking

We spent a couple of hours upon our arrival trying to understand how to get our key. It wasn’t mentioned that the reception is in an another building. The phone wasn’t answering so basically we were on the street waiting for something. Then, the room was on the ground floor, it was humid and there was no really mountain view. In our building there were rooms that had amazing views but I don’t know how to get them because, while booking, a room like ours was an only option. We had to make our own bed… so after the long wait on the street you find your room on the -1 floor and then you have to make your own bed. The sheets were really uncomfortable because at the end of them where there is supposed to be a closing so your duvet doesn’t move- there was just a big hole … so our duvet was moving all the time. Also there was blood on our sheets. Our room smelled like weed, because our neighbors were smoking a lot and about the neighbors: you could hear them the whole night, they were really loud and in general there is no sound isolation at all. And no wifi

Nada porque no pude ingresar.
Cuando llegue a la ubicación de Booking tenia que ir 3 horas a otra ciudad. Todo porque estaban de vacaciones y no bloquearon la fecha, no me quisieron cancelar, ni devolver el dinero. Una vergüenza!!!

Cons:

No hubo trato. No me dieron nada de lo que prometían en la página de booking. Que uso hace años y nunca me paso algo así. Un desastre!!!

Pros:

Excellent location. Bus stop right outside the fort for quick and easy access to the different ski areas and quick walk and you’re in the thick of town.

Clean. Loads of hot water. Comfy bed.

Cons:

Honestly it needs a bit of an update as it’s a bit old. But then it would probably cost a lot more

He reservado con booking decenas de veces y nunca he tenido ningún problema ... hasta ahora. Parece que esta gente reservó más apartamentos de los que tenía y tuvieron que cambiarme a otro edificio, con apartamento en bastante peor estado (comparado con fotos que publican). La supuesta habitación estaba el mini hall de acceso, donde cabe justita una litera. Viejo a más no poder y poco cuidado.

Sobre el parking: otro desastre. La chica de recepción, muy simpática, no ofreció demasiada información más allá de que nos buscasemos la vida. Eso de 55 euros la semana que dicen no se donde será, no me lo creo ... por lo menos en temporada alta. Lo único que encontramos no completo (en Agosto está hasta arriba de coches) es un parking descubierto a 18 euros el día.

Praktisch, aber kein Wohlfühlfaktor.
Pros:

Die Aussicht vom Zimmer/Balkon auf den Mont Blanc war grandios. Dafür war die direkte Lage am Busbahnhof strategisch gut. Sehr gute Küchenausstattung.

Cons:

Die direkte Lage am Busbahnhof war aber dadurch sehr laut. Im Zuge einer Klimabündnis-Gemeinde sollten die Busse vor der Abfahrt nicht 20 Minuten und mehr ihre Motoren laufen lassen - vor allem nachts sollte dies unterlassen werden.
Ausstattung abgewohnt, kein WLAN. Nur sehr wenige Ablagen, Schränke usw.
