Superb locations ... Amazing inside, room was just lovely with SOOO much effort made to make us enjoy a great stay. Food was excellent, breakfast freshly cooked and yummy ... Can not fault in anyway.

Breakfast was very good and an excellent idea to order the night before, saving waste and waiting times.
Staff without exception were friendly and helpful.
Room was well presented and comfortable.
For us a little lounge area would have been very nice to relax in the evening.
Whilst the food was very good , an option of smaller portions would have been good as that would save being sometimes over faced and therefore feeling wasteful when having to leave food.( it would then perhaps be possible to enjoy a dessert too!)

A stunning hotel in a beautiful location and very conveniently located for a stopover on our journey from the South East to Scotland. Gorgeous decor throughout the bar, restaurant and rooms. Friendly and welcoming staff who were so kind and helpful. The rooms were to a very high standard and very comfortable. It was a great start to our holiday.

From the location, staff, food, rooms, atmosphere, everything was just spot on.
We stayed a couple of nights this week on a motorbike trip and apart from our trip home, I think they even ordered in the weather for us 😊
Every single member of staff were just incredible and really couldn't do enough for us.
Jack, the resident dog, is just the coolest, most laid back boy and is more than happy to share his space with any other four legged pal that comes along.
The food, well .... some of the best quality, tastiest food I've had. I normally don't order a steak outside of a steakhouse because it's never cooked right, but I went for it and ordered it rare. It was cooked perfectly and the flavour, wow 👌
We will definitely be back, thank you for a great stay 💕

Kings Head is an exceptional pub. The setting is beautiful. The rooms are very spacious and the beds are to die for. Staff are amazing and so attentive, special thanks to Alex and Charlotte for making us feel very welcome. Jack the dog 🩵

Beautiful location and such a pretty, charming and cosy pub. Lovely, friendly and helpful staff. Delicious food both breakfast and dinner. Rooms are clean and well equipped.
The host was so welcoming and cheery all the staff was wonderful the food was exceptional couldn't fault anything and I will definitely recommend and return
