Pros:

Good location and had parking on the pavement outside

Cons:

The shower is as special and just made the whole bathroom wet. Also the AC unit was leaking.

Un hôtel confortable, propre et climatisé
Pros:

Hôtel confortable, propre et climatisé. Le personnel ne parle pas anglais mais fait tout son possible pour aider.

Cons:

Les équipements sont corrects, la salle de bain serait à améliorer mais c’est largement suffisant pour une nuit pendant la Ha Giang Loop. J’y retournerais sans hésiter.

Great budget stay in Dong Van
Pros:

The hotel is new and clean. Fully equipped with a kettle, coffee, tea, bottled water, hair dryer, wardrobe, desk, chair, etc. The owner is cheerful and attentive. Strong water pressure and good hot water.

Epic in more ways than one
Pros:

This hotel is in a great location with just a short walk into the market, old town etc and is quiet. Very clean and Sơn the guy on the desk is exceptionally helpful. He took me in his car to Lung Cu, LoLo Village, stopping for photos , as a day trip and drove me to my next place to stay at Ma Pi Leng Pass where there was no public transport, xe om or taxi. He is amazing despite limited English and my basic Vietnamese, we used google translate.

Cons:

For a town that is very cold it was dissapointing when we arrived that the heater wasnt working and had, no water at all. went to reception and was no one there. Finally someone showed up and we checked another room and was the same. Nothing working at all. Got my money back and left.

Pros:

Location and kind staff.

Cons:

The hotel was very cold, and the air conditioning couldn’t be switched to heating mode. They only had one portable heater, even though we stayed in two rooms. Cleanliness could have been better, and there was mold on the wall. Overall, a disappointing experience.
