Decent room, good for short stay
Pros:

It was a 10 minute walk from Canada Life place. We stayed one night to go to a concert. Really good pub across the street, but lots of options in the area.
Room was clean, beds were comfy. Relatively quiet. Grab and go breakfast had good choices.

Cons:

Building is a little run down, but that's not a deal breaker.
Other ppl have complained about the homeless shelter next door, but there was a visible police presence in the area and security available. We didn't feel unsafe. They kept to themselves and didn't bother anyone.

Excellent Stay at the Sandman
Pros:

When checking in at the front desk Was met by an amazing Lady, My husband is in hospital in London, She was very considerate and caring for my needs .

Pros:

The room was quiet and comfortable, but they were missing some things as advertised (no hair dryer, aged room). Great complimentary breakfast. Fair pet charge.

Cons:

Extra charge for parking of $16 per night, but not quoted in room information. Also not quoted that security deposit also required when we prepaid for the room

Comfortable Place to stay if one can look beyond the aesthetic part of the hotel.
Pros:

Love that the room is self contained with fridge, iron & board, coffee/tea maker (keuric), microwave oven and 2 very comfortable queen size beds.

Cons:

The AC is noisy, carpet has stains and decor is dated but was told renovation is in the plans. There were a few homeless people loitering outside the building but they didn’t bother us which is fine with me.

Cons:

Needed key card to get free breakfast and twice to get into hotel from underground parking. Possibly because of Hostel next door. Parking is $16 a night. Tv selection was poor. Could not get Leafs game or Thursday night football. A 2.5 star hotel pretending to be a 4.
