Overall, a good place by Vietnam standards.
The staff is very polite and responds quickly, which we really appreciated. The room was relatively clean (again, by local standards), and we had a white bed, air conditioner, and a proper shower. We even got a room with a balcony, which had a nice partial view of the city.
The Wi-Fi was a bit unstable at times, but manageable.
For the price, it’s a great deal. You get exactly what you pay for — maybe even a bit more.
Privacy, cleanliness, TV with many channels
No hot water, air con works not too well. It's more than 20mins walk to town centre. Staff doesn't speak English but friendly.
Clean. Hired us decent motorbikes at a reasonable rate. Helpful staff esp organising private taxi to Sa Dec. Nice restaurant across the road (down a laneway).
For the price pretty basic; room not as pictured - a tight squeeze. Hard bed. No view. 4kms walk to central part of city. To be fair not many offerings in Tra Vinh; it's not on the tourist map.
Good sized room in a traditional old building. Comfortable bed, good shower.
There's a kettle but no fridge in the room
There are lots of shops and restaurants nearby including two good vegan restaurants.
It's a 20 min walk or so into the centre but it's a relatively nice walk - Tra Vinh is a quieter city than many in Vietnam and there's not too much traffic, you can walk on the pavement easily without obstruction.
Staff are all very cheerful and helpful.
Windows are heavily frosted so there's no view.
Given the fairly quiet roads, Tra Vinh would be the perfect city to explore by bicycle but unfortunately neither this nor any other of the hotels I looked at offer that service.
The facility is old and rusty, no hot water, sewer smell
Great location to experience Tra Vinh. A magic city. Felt privileged to be able to experience it.

I came at 2pm and the room wasn't ready yet. I had to wait an hour 😑
