Right in the heart of olf Montréal
Pros:

Excellent location in old Montréal. It's right next to the Basilica. The room was small but clean and cute. The staff was helpful. There are a couple of restaurants in the hotel; we tried the sushi one and it was good. I recommend this place if you want to stay in old Montréal and want to avoid driving around.

Cons:

They charge parking separately and it's not cheap (45 CAD per day). Parking seems to be a complex issue in Montreal so this may be part of that. Either way, it's something to bear in mind when booking.

Pros:

I like the professionalism of the staff they keep their staff for a very long time. They are always pleasant to deal with and the place always smells clean, but not perfume me. I’ve been coming here since they first opened the first building and now they have four joined together and it’s always 100%.

Pros:

The rooms are spacious and elegantly decked out (I stayed in the original section of the hotel). The view of the city makes you feel like part of it whether looking towards it or at the cathedral. The location is across the street from the subway - and walking distance to museums, theatres and great restaurants. The staff are friendly and helpful. Wifi is great and you can stream your devices easily to the TV. HPA is my favourite hotel in Montreal.

Pros:

Loved the ambience and location. Room (Superior King) was really large and spacious. Nicely furnished and decor throughout was stylish and charming.

Cons:

I would have loved a room with a bath - especially for a Superior room. Also the rain head shower was very disappointing - the water didn’t flow through the holes properly and just dripped from the rim. We were only staying for one night, so didn’t inform the desk to see if the could rectify.
