I would not recommend as it’s in desperate need to maintanance

Nothing - literally stayed for 30 minutes and left. I am still waiting on the refund though I am doubtful this is going to be processed.

When I arrived the resort looked nice on entrance. From that point, it went downhill. The reception was under renovation which was fair, however the check in desk which wasn't being painted, was dirty. I was served a welcome drink in a dirty glass which I just hoped was a coincidence of the renovation.

Once given the keys to to room the staff helped with our bags and we walked around the grounds. The gardens are lovely and very well kept. Then we got to the pool. I noticed it was half full with brown stains on the water line. There was a think film of white residue mixed with dead insects and foliage. There was not one person there. At all. In the restaurant as we walked passed, in the garden or pool area.

When I entered the room I could have cried. The door had a gap from the floor that I could fit my foot through. It was foul smelling and the floors were dusty and cracked. The bedding was stained and smelt of stale cigarettes. There was a questionable white stain on the velvet headboard above the pillow. The room was very run down with doors hanging off cupboards, lights were wonky with exposed wires and the plug sockets hanging off.

Then I entered the bathroom. The bathmat was brown (should have been white). The bath, which I booked this resort for, was broken and the sides hanging off. It was brown and dirty in the bottom with remnants of leaking shower gels down the side. I went to wash my hands and the towel was crusty and dry.

I then went to connect my phone (to book another hotel) and shock, the WiFi didn't work 🤣

It was the worst room and hotel I have ever seen. I paid around £85 for the two nights, so it isn't the most expensive stay, however it was truly awful. When I tried to leave, I had to explain to four different people (including two on the phone) what the problem was. I was told I'd be refunded and I'm still waiting. I felt sorry for the girl who checked us in. She knew what was coming and I think was embarrassed.

Cons:

Our stay at Raya Resorts, Goa was extremely disappointing due to poor hygiene and lack of basic hospitality standards.

The rooms and bathrooms were unhygienic, with visible dirt and stains. The pillows were moldy, which is completely unacceptable and raises serious health concerns. The bathroom condition was equally bad and not something you expect even from a budget stay, let alone a resort.

The swimming pool was filthy, with greenish water, making it unsafe and unusable. This clearly shows a lack of proper maintenance.

Breakfast options were very limited, and despite multiple requests, basic requested items were ignored or simply not provided. The staff showed little concern for guest comfort or feedback.

Overall, the resort does not justify its pricing at all. Poor cleanliness, bad maintenance, and indifferent service ruined the experience. I would not recommend this resort to anyone looking for a clean, relaxing stay in Goa.

Pros:

Lo staff è eccezionale! Sempre a disposizione e molto gentile, cercano sempre di soddisfare le tue necessità e soprattutto non sono mai invadenti. La colazione era ben assortita e in linea con quello che si può trovare in india. Cibo locale e non internazionale.
La posizione dell'hotel è buona, ma per raggiungere le varie destinazioni bisogna prenotare un taxi che la struttura ti mette a disposizione, basta chiedere in reception.
