Booked it late,so it was ok for what we needed

Beautiful place everything an more in the room it was massive

Great clean room but the road works were noisy and started at 07:30, looks like a long project.

Cons:

Road works outside of room could of been mentioned before booking. It looks like a long project. A reduction in price would of been nice. I am sure they have been compensated from the council for the works.

Fantastic location. Lovely bar downstairs. The food looked amazing but sadly had already booked a restaurant so didn't eat there, just had a drink.
David was very quick to answer a query that I had.

Pros:

Our room with balcony was fabulous in scale and luxury. All requirements met, location perfect. The pub and beer garden downstairs very impressive and the restaurant next door excellent and highly recommended.

Cons:

Nil. Temporary roadworks outside but that has to be done at some point in time.

Exceeded expectations.
Pros:

Excellent and cosy hotel above historic pub. Room clean, as described, matched the photos. Clean bathroom with decent sized shower. Plenty of tea and coffee available. Discount in the pub too! Excellent location for our night out round the old town. Great value for money.

Cons:

Cannot fault it.

Excellent for the old town. And not a long walk to town centre.
Pros:

Very central, close to the old town. We stayed on the deluxe double and it was beautiful. Will definitely be booking this room again.
