Pros:

A really characterful stay, albeit fairly remote.
Pros:

Very characterful ‘wild’ feeling lodge with amazing views.

Cons:

The location; in the jungle and away from the town was / is part of the hotels appeal. However, this means it is somewhat tricky to get to after visiting the nearby town. No transport was available or provided by the hotel, nor could we locate anything in the town which is pretty small. Meant a pitch black 20 minute walk with phone torches!

Ausgezeichnetes Hotel mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Tolles Zimmer und sehr feines Essen. Wunderbare Terrasse mit fantastischem Blick auf den Mekong. Fast zu schade, für bloss eine Nacht.

Das Hotel liegt liegt wunderschön am Mekong!
Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr nett und hilfsbereit

Cons:

150 Euro war das Hotel nicht wert!
Die Zimmer sind in die Jahre gekommen, es gibt keinen Safe, Wasserkocher oder andere Annehmlichkeiten im Zimmer.
Fand das Bad hässlich, vor allem die Dusche, für den verlangten Preis wäre es angebracht diese zu renovieren.
Habe den gleichen Preis in einem wirklich schönen 5* Hotel in Luang Prabang bezahlt , für Pakbeng ist das eindeutig zu viel.
Da die meisten Gäste auf Durchreise sind und nur eine Nacht bleiben, bietet das Hotel außer Softdrinks nichts während des Tages an
Es gibt keine bequemen Liegen , wo man sich mal hinlegen hätte können und die Sonne genießen oder sonst was.
Das Hotel hät meiner Meinung großes Potenzial ohne viel Aufwand könnte man ein wirklich nettes Boutique Hotel daraus machen, (Bäder sind zu renovieren! und in den Service wäre zu investieren.
Restaurant kann man nur ein fixes Menu für 25 $ essen, nicht ideal für den kleinen Hunger.

Great view, and atmosphere. Wooden cottages with a colonial vibe. Great set menu in the evening and very nice breakfast. Friendly and service minded staff. A little pricey considering the price level in Laos.

Hotel di charm immerso nella natura
Pros:

Arriverete a Pakbeng, probabilmente dopo aver navigate sul Mekong, e troverete un piccolo paesino rurale laotiano senza fronzoli. In contrasto a tutto ciò, vi immergerete in un hotel con un'atmosfera pacifica, composta da una vegetazione incontaminata. È il perfetto luogo dove potrete mettervi a contatto con la natura, godervi una magnifica vista sulle sponde del Mekong e ascoltare tutti i suono provenienti dalla natura. La camera ha un'architettura tradizionale laotiana ma con un arredamento moderno. L'hotel offre un servizio di traporto verso il porto, altrimenti difficilmente raggiungibile a piedi, oltre ad un buon servizio ristorante. La colazione era ottima e di qualità.

Nulla, l'hotel a soddisfatto le nostre apettative.

Beautiful setting and bungalows along the Mekong River.
Pros:

The bungalows were lovely and right on the river. The view was exceptional and we were the only ones there for 1 night. It was quiet, relaxed and very welcoming. The staff were excellent and wanted to help us. They were kind and very informative.

Cons:

There were slats in the windows so bugs did get in even with a mosquito net around the bed.
