Great Hosts Perfect Stay
Communication with the owner was excellent. The air conditioning worked.
The room wasn't very clean. The bedding had a strange smell. The rug was so dirty that it was riddled with hairballs, nail clippings, bits of sand, and definitely other life forms. It was disgusting. The bed squeaked with every movement. All the furnishings were old. The terrace seemed never cleaned; someone's underwear had been lying next to the air conditioner for ages. The shared bathroom was large but dingy. Because it opened onto a sort of terrace, bugs were getting in. The reservation stated that breakfast was included. We didn't receive any.

Stayed at this beautiful property when I was traveling to Colombo for a quick trip. Loved everything about it. Perfect for budget friendly travelers.
What I liked about Noah's Ark Transit Stay is the family running it. They were informative, very helpful and friendly. The were open to help with whatever I had question about in terms of the places to visit in Colombo.
There is AC in the room and it works. However, only the turn on/ off of the AC control works, the rest don't.
The room, the bathroom and the Kitchen were too dirty. Everywhere on the room was dusty, hairy and spider nets were on the wall. From the top of the closet it was clear it wasn't well cleaned for months if not years. The bed sheets were not smelling good and had stains on. Coming to the bathroom, the shower glass bottom was dark yellow from dirt 🤢. The shower floor the same. The shower water hotness degree and pressure were not good. One of the doors locker in the bathroom didn't work, so I couldn't close it. The shared kitchen was in a horrible level of dirt as well. It was clear that it hasn't got cleaned in a very long time. The breakfast was very small smelled bad, so I couldn't eat anything except 2 bananas. There were no facilities such as hairdryer and kettle.
There are dogs in the nearby and their neighbors have dogs, so they have barked for most of the night and could barely sleep.
The location is 25 mins Tuk Tuk from the downtown and it is in a sideway lane. There are not close attractions nearby except the beach.
Everything was just as described. We stayed here for a short visit upon arrival from the airport we were picked up by a driver arranged by Asiri the property owner. I would recommend this accommodation.
The overall experience was unpleasant. The room was not properly cleaned. Additionally, breakfast was not provided, even though it was mentioned on Booking.com

I had an incredible stay at this hotel! The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities I needed. The bed was extremely comfortable,. The staff was friendly and always willing to help. I will definitely be coming back!
