Perfekt für Zwischenstopp am Yala Nationalpark
Pros:

Schöne große Zimmer, nah gelegen am Yala Nationalpark. Schöner Garten mit Pool. Es werden gerade weitere Häuser gebaut dann könnte es am Pool etwas eng werden. Stört wahrscheinlich nicht da die meisten nur für wenige Tage bleiben. Leckeres Essen und sehr freundliches Personal. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt

- Goed en lekker ontbijt
- Goed werkende airco en ijskast
- Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel
- Zwembad aanwezig (was wel warm water)
- Propere en ruime kamers
- Safari gedaan via hotel, alles was goed geregeld

Cons:

- 2 nachten geslapen en 2 dagen geen warm water gehad. Hadden dit dag 1 gemeld en kregen dag nadien andere kamer. Maar ook bij deze kamer merkte we in de avond dat het water niet warm was. Terug bericht gestuurd maar geen reactie gekregen. Dit was het enige slechte aan dit verblijf.

Great comfortable stay for 2 nights. Staff attentive and friendly. Location for Yala Safari ideal.
Pros:

Returned for 2nd year running so that says something itself. Staff remembered us straight away, and it was because of the staff that we returned. Rooms comfortable, breakfast and evening meal lovely...the special burger was delicious. Staff even helped us celebrate our friends 50th birthday, providing a cake which we shared with them.Pool clean and inviting

Highly recommend!
Pros:

Gorgeous room. Lovely pool. Food was gorgeous! Attentive and friendly staff who were so accommodation and helpful. Booked our safari tour via Coconut Garden which was brilliant. Really enjoyed our time here.

Cons:

I can't think of a single thing that we didn't like!

Tutto davvero magnifico: camere ampie, curate e perfettamente pulite. Anche gli spazi comuni sono ben mantenuti e accoglienti. Il ristorante merita una menzione speciale: propone una cucina locale davvero eccellente, consiglio assolutamente di fermarsi a cena almeno una sera in hotel.

Il safari organizzato dalla struttura è stato un’esperienza splendida, ben gestita e indimenticabile. Ottima anche la colazione, sia in hotel che durante il safari: varia, abbondante e di qualità.

Sehr schöne Hotelanlage, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.
Pros:

Sehr schöne Anlage mit Häusern für die Gäste im großen Garten. Die Zimmer waren groß, sehr sauber und gut klimatisiert. Der Pool ist sehr schön angelegt und von Palmen umringt. Wir haben im Restaurant sehr gut zu Abend gegessen - wir haben den fangfrischen Fisch des Tages bestellt, der sehr gut zubereitet war. Am Morgen gab es für den frühen Start zur Safari für jeden ein praktisches Breakfast Package. Alle Mitarbeiter des Hotels waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Wir haben uns besonders gefreut, dass wir nach der Rückkehr von unserer Safari noch in Ruhe duschen, packen und dadurch etwas später auschecken durften, das war toll.

Cons:

Während wir dort waren, wurden gerade an drei weiteren Gästehäuser gebaut, so dass man vom Pool und auch unserer Terrasse auf die Baustelle blickte, und tagsüber die Baustellengeräusche hörte.
Zur Lage: Vom Hotel fährt man noch ca 40 Minuten bis zum Eingang in den Yala Nationalpark.

Hotel arranged our safari which we would recommend. Also our onward travel.

Peaceful hotel in Tissamahamara
Pros:

Lovely hotel in Tissamahamara, perfect for relaxing before or after a Yala National Safari trip! The staff were kind enough to pack us lovely breakfast for 5.00am (!!) to take with us on safari. They have a lovely pool area with lots of sun beds, and each room has a veranda/porch to relax on or watch the sunset.

The restaurant is very good, we had a waitress who took excellent care of us, and our driver (taking us to Ella the next day) came to introduce himself during dinner. I would recommend the Sri Lankan specials on the menu!

Cons:

It is a little expensive compared to other places in Sri Lanka, but still a wonderful hotel.

Super plek, echt een aanrader!
Pros:

Wat een heerlijke plek. We hebben de safari's via Coconut garden geregeld en daar waren we erg blij mee. Ze leveren goede gidsen/chauffeurs. We hadden de mazzel dat we meteen in de ochtend een luipaard zagen die een stekelvarken aanviel en na de lunchpauze gewoon een lippenbeer!! Het eten is heerlijk. Wij hadden 4 dagen all inclusive en daar hebben we geen spijt van gehad. Elke dag een andere kaart om uit te kiezen. Ze verzorgen het eten als je een hele dag op safari bent. Dinushi bij de bediening heeft ons hart gestolen. Ze doet haar werk goed en is altijd in voor ene praatje. Het zwembad is fijn, de ligbedden incl badlakens zijn aanwezig. Er worden op dit moment 8 verblijven bijgebouwd (geen last van gehad), Coconut garden doet het goed en dat verbaasd ons niks.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft am Yala NP
Pros:

Toller Unterkunft, wir hatten auch viel Spass im Pool und haben sehr schön gegessen und geschlafen. Sehr nettes Personal, viele Frauen. Netterweise konnten wir mit Zustellbett auch mit 5 Personen (3 Kindern) übernachten. Nach unserer Safari durften wir sogar noch im Zimmer duschen, obwohl wir dann abgereist sind.

Cons:

Mit etwas mehr Zeit wären wir gerne länger geblieben.

Lovely accommodation with great staff
Pros:

The rooms were spacious and clean . Pool area was lovely and the staff were friendly and so polite

Cons:

Shower was cold (attempted on 3 separate occasions) and unfortunate timing by us and can’t be helped but hotel is extending so lots of building work happening near to the pool area !!.

Pros:

We had a great stay ! We stayed only one night and were very happy to enjoy the pool, dinner and drinks under a lit up garden and an amazing safari planned by the hotel. The hotel staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, everyone was so kind ! The design of the hotel with the huts and palm trees is beautiful.

Cons:

There are constructions going on right now in the hotel. It was not noisy but not particulary nice to see.
