Pros:

Das Zimmer war wie beschrieben. Die Leute vor Ort sind freundlich. Die Welle liegt direkt vor der Tür.

Cons:

Das ist kein Hotel. Es ist ein Zimmer in einem Gebäude - keine Rezeption, kein Gemeinschaftsbereich, keine Küche, keine Kantine, kein Restaurant, nichts. Man kann sich ausschließlich im eigenen Zimmer aufhalten. Wer ein Hotel bucht, prüft vorher nicht, ob es eine Rezeption gibt, ob es einen Ort zum Sitzen gibt oder ob man dort essen kann. Das setzt man voraus. Hier ist nichts davon vorhanden.

Dazu das Umfeld: Rechts und links neben dem Gebäude stehen nur noch Ruinen, in der direkten Umgebung ist kaum etwas intakt. Gegessen wird zwangsläufig im Warung am Strand nebenan - die einzige realistische Option, Qualität mittelmäßig. Auf den Fotos sieht man Zimmer, Balkon und Welle. Was rechts und links danebensteht, zeigt keine einzige Aufnahme.

Vor der Anreise hatten wir direkten Kontakt zum Manager, der zugleich der Surf Guide ist. Kein Wort dazu, wie es dort tatsächlich aussieht - dafür die Aufforderung, 100 Euro für Surfstunden vorab zu überweisen, damit die Termine fest eingeplant werden. Wir sind noch am Ankunftstag wieder abgereist. Um Rückerstattung haben wir gebeten, sie wurde abgelehnt.

Wir sind seit Jahren regelmäßig in Indonesien und auf den Philippinen unterwegs und einiges gewohnt. Hier haben wir es keinen Tag ausgehalten. Wer ausschließlich zum Surfen kommt und bereit ist, zwischen Zimmer, Warung und Welle zu pendeln, kommt zurecht. Allen anderen raten wir ausdrücklich ab.

Doesn’t get better than this! Location, location, location.
Pros:

Sea view rooms have unbeatable views. It’s so good, it’s addictive to just sit and watch for hours.

Water pressure in the shower wasn’t great. Felt like I was dancing in the rain.

Pros:

We rented the mountain view room so obviously not as great as the sea view but a better price. 😂 Perfect location. Tidy and styley. Cool legend manager. The best shower and coffee perk

foi ótima, boas ondas, boa comida e excelente diversão.
Pros:

sem dúvidas a melhor hospedagem em lakey peak pelo que vi. localização é muito boa, de frente para a onda e com um dos melhores restaurantes da área na porta, que serve de café da manhã até jantar a preços totalmente honestos ao que entregam (que é de qualidade).

Cons:

as vezes ser na porta do pico pode deixar em situações desconfortáveis com pessoas que não são do hotel.

Loved our stay at The Peak!
Pros:

Loved our stay at The Peak, our room was great, comfortable, clean, fresh, a 20l water bottle, and that view! There is no common area or restaurant in the hotel but lots of great options right by it.

Cons:

Not an issue with The Peak at all but organising drivers to/from Lakey was a bit of a nightmare - someone controls the drivers who can work in and out of Lakey and same for bima airport, so drivers we booked in advance ended up cancelling and then the local drivers wouldn’t allow us to travel with more than four of us in their 7-seat vans.
Next time I would just book transport through Dedi at The Peak. He knows all the local rules and sorted things out for us in the end when we were getting mucked around after trying to deal direct.

Great place, nice location

Cons:

No communal chill area.
It’s for lakey peak/Huu a really nice hotel. In Bali it would be a bit overpriced and kind of average. But since they’re the nicest hotel there I understand they’re a little bit expensive.
The sea view rooms have a so much better view then the ones at the back, different world..

Net en schoon hotel op geweldige locatie. Als er zwembad bij had gezeten was t helemaal af geweest.
Pros:

Prachtige locatie aan de mooiste surfsport van Sumbawa. Mooiste hotel in de omgeving.

Cons:

Waren geen gezamenlijke faciliteiten als een lobby, eet ruimte, zwembad oid. Past misschien ook wel in de surf vibe. Maar als je met iemand reist die niet surft was dat wel een pluspunt geweest.

Pros:

Best location and super nice rooms. Staff were quick to respond and helpful. Beautiful grounds and scenery.

Cons:

No soap, shampoo etc (only dishwashing liquid) so BYO.

Séjour presque parfait dans l’ensemble vraiment très sympa !
Pros:

Le personnel était adorable du début à la fin. L’ambiance était agréable au sein de l’établissement. Lits très confortables, clim fonctionnelle et la chambre était bien propre. Je recommande d’aller manger au Nami juste à côté!

Cons:

Le seul point négatif est que nous n’avions pas de savon pour se doucher donc nous nous sommes débrouillés
