The location is in the middle of nowhere , there is a cafe 2 minutes up the road, and we had most of our meals there, very reasonable priced , and excellent food and staff , the service was excellent too, the park and ride into York town was very easy to use , we used it most days , very reliable, buses extremely clean , liked where the manor inn was situated as it was easy to get to other towns like Filey , Bridlington, and Scarborough
No other pubs or restaurants in the vicinity, as the manor inn wasn’t open until the Wednesday. It stated that the rooms were soundproof but they are not , as we could clearly hear our neighbours, there was no fridge in the room ,we could not keep our milk cold for our cups of tea, there is a kettle in the room, but it would’ve been better if there was even a small fridge supplied , the owner had not put the Wi-Fi. Information in the rooms , but the information was displayed behind the bar , and for the cost of the stay I think breakfast should be included in the price we didn’t get any breakfasts , as the manor inn served them too late in the day , if you wanted to go out for the day somewhere, we won’t be returning

Room names. Food and drinks were fantastic. Hospitality was great.
Everything was perfect. It's a shame more people don't make use of this wonderful place.
Was met by the very friendly owner who took us to the room and explained all the necessary processes. We booked an evening meal and at the allocated time we were offered menus to choose our meals and then were escorted into the very nicely laid out restaurant just before our meals were served. A very nice touch I thought.
Whilst the room was spacious and very clean the bed was a bit softly sprung for my liking however I guess that’s a chance you take when sleeping away from home!
The property was lovely, we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it.
The accommodation was very clean and had everything you needed. The restaurant was excellent and the steaks delicious. The proprietor was lovely and went out of her way to ensure we all had a lovely stay.
The only thing that could be improved is a heated mirror in the bathroom.
Quiet yet near main road. All that was required for a comfortable overnight stop.
Clean and quiet
Kathleen, the owner, greeted me by name when I arrived and was the perfect hostess, showing me to my room and taking care of everything. I had dinner at the property and it was also excellent, Lathlern also took the time to place me at a table away from a larger group which was really thoughtful. Room was clean, modern and comfortable, great shower too and all the extra bits you need when staying away.
The only tiny issues was the slightly ropy tv reception but it was a stormy night and I did not report this to the team at the time because it was not important to me.
Arrived just after 6pm food was available if needed I’d already eaten was tempted by a drink but room was so comfy I just had an early night. Everything you need was provided made coffee in the morning and shower was lovely. Everything I needed and welcome was lovely.
Bed was a little soft but I slept well anyway
The room was clean, staff were super welcoming and friendly. The surrounding area was lovely and quiet. The food is exceptional and not badly priced. Cannot fault our stay at all would definitely go back and recommend to anyone who is wanting a quiet few days away. Rooms are a little on the small side but it did not take away from the experience and was perfect for what we needed.
