Jo Shtibel Tel-Aviv

Upon getting dropped off at Jo Shtibel, while I did noticed an alarming amount of people who appeared to be homeless in the street as well as dilapidated buildings surrounding the hotel I did not think much of it. I am from New York where we see our fair share of both. I mean, who am I go judge a city I've never visited before? I thought that it would be best to shrug my shoulders and walk into the hotel where I was met with an absolutely beautiful lobby and helped but a quite friendly gentlemen behind the counter.

After getting checked in, I went up to the room and upon entering saw what could only be described as a room that looked like someone had just slept in it before I got there- upon further inspection the bathroom had some sort of molded grout around the shower, the walls looked as though a physical altercation had taken place, the view was into someones office space, and when I tried to ignore all of that and just go to sleep, when I pulled back the comforter there were several long hairs in the sheets. Upon speaking with the front desk they stated that all they could do was offer me another room to say in, when I said that I would be more comfortable at another hotel, they said they would refund 1 of my nights, therefore keeping the other 2 nights worth of charges for themselves.

At the time I was so excited to get away from this property that it seemed like I was the one getting away with a steal. I moved to the Crowne Plaza on the beach and that stay was amazing.

I try not to let one bad experience be the factor that has me view an entire country with disdain, but this was not a good first impression of Israel. The rest of the trip was great and the people were amazing but after leaving Jo Shtibel I seriously thought I may have made a travel mistake by coming here. If you want to enjoy Tel Aviv, I would say this place is a HARD PASS. I would have rather rented a car with a large backseat and slept in that.

נהלים לא הגיוניים ולא פריים למחיר שמלשמים
קטנוניות , על כל דבר יש מה להגיד והכל מפריע בעקרון הרגשה של אסור לנשום בתחומי המלון , וככה הרגישו כל שאר השוהים במלון שיצא לנו לדבר איתם וגם המפונים התלננו מלא שהם מתנקלים אליהם פשוט הרסו לנו את החוויה ואת הסופש היה לא נעים בכלל

את גודל החדר

אז ככה, התמונות לא מדברות את הקלאס הבינוני. החדר מאוד פשוט, צפוף באזורים מסויימים, המקלחת פיצית, המעבר בין הקיר למיטה צפוף. הניקיון היה לא למופת. הכסא בצד המיטה היה מלוכלך והשטיח מתחת למיטה היה מרופט במצב לא טוב. נראה שהיה בחדר הרבה תקלות שלא תוקנו, או שתוקנו לא כראוי.. הקירות מלאים כתמים. לגבי המלון, הגענו בשעה מאוחרת ולא ממש היה עם מי לדבר, ולקח זמן עד שעשו לנו צ'ק אין. לא הוגשה ארוחת בוקר באותו הבוקר כך שלא באמת יכולנו להחליט אם לאכול שם או לא.
