Beautiful and fun boutique hotel in heart of Hiriketiya
Pros:

Wonderful stay at La Playa in Hiriketiya. Staff are so attentive and dedicated to providing a wonderful experience for guests. Room is a quiet, cool escape from the bustle of the beach club. Food and drinks are absolutely delicious. We loved sitting at the upstairs bar overlooking the beach for lunch and evening drinks. We will be recommending to anyone looking to stay in the heart of Hiriketiya.

Pros:

Super stylisch and clean room with nice balcony over the beach club and view over the bay/surfers

Cons:

Service basically doesn’t exists:
- you book yourself into a beach club and then they don’t have a reserved sunbed for you (we had to go somewhere else as all sunbeds were occupied on 1st day)
- indeed don’t hav any hotel facilities: no reception, no storage room, you need to ask one of the waiters for any question
- most unfriendly and unsupportive welcome of our 19 days itinerary
- beach club is okay but very packed and limited views, the bay has 3-4 beach clubs to choose from

Despite is really fantastic room I wouldn’t recommend to stay here. You have zero advantage of being an overnight guests. Next time I would stay in an accomodation with more service and friendliness and come here (or any other beach club) as a day guest

Pros:

A beautiful small hotel with a stunning sea view. The room was spotlessly clean, the staff so lovely and the food was amazing. We woke up every morning to sit on our balcony watching the surfers start their day. Wd were very sad to leave.

Cons:

There is absolutely nothing to dislike.

Pros:

Sehr stylisch eingerichtetes Zimmer, super Lage direkt am Strand, tolles Frühstück, nettes Personal.

Cons:

Es war die ganze Nacht SEHR LAUT. Abends Live Konzerte in der Bar nebenan, Rave Party am Strand mit Techno Musik bis 2 Uhr morgens, dann Kämpfe zwischen Strassenhunden und ab 7 Uhr morgens wieder Musik. Ich habe 3 Nächte lang kaum geschlafen.

Pros:

Everything about this hotel is amazing! The Location, the food, the staff (major shout out to the Bartender Ravi as well as the bar lead), the large rooms, the decor and the overall vibe... They have done a lovely job with every detail.

Amazing stay right on la playa beach direct access to the beach club and can reserve any sunbed for the day when staying here staff were super helpful and the food was great

Cons:

Nothing, perhaps a TV in the room could have been nice as we stayed for 5 nights

Queremos voltar!! 10/10
Pros:

Tem enorme vantagem de se ficar hospedado no melhor beach club da praia de hiriketiya.
Pequeno-almoço muito bom, exclusivo para os hóspedes.
Staff muito prestável e atencioso.
Quanto ao barulho, o restaurante fecha às 22h, portanto não foi um problema.

Pros:

Quite possibly one of my favourite places I’ve ever stayed. The location is perfect right on Hiriketya beach, I could never get bored of the view from our room and will be dreaming of it for some time. The room was large and well designed and the bed was incredibly comfy - I slept so well my whole stay! The food was delicious, making ordering from the sun lounger far too tempting. Everything here is magical, I didn’t want my stay to end and hope I visit again.
P.S. A previous review mentions sun loungers aren’t reserved for guests. This has changed and we had a lounger reserved each day for us!
