A fine classic hotel in excellent location, with great staff, but has a few limitations due to the age of the building
Pros:

It’s in a beautiful village and is an historic hotel, that I have fond memories of visiting with my parents, whilst holidaying, as a young child. It hasn’t changed in many respects
The staff were lovely and we had a grand bed, upgraded for us

Cons:

The bar food was a bit mixed, some was very good, whilst other small plates, disappointed

A quick stopover to enjoy the pretty town of Adare in a lovely and friendly hotel

Lovely comfortable bed, perfect location, good breakfast and friendly staff.

Cons:

Our room was on the front of the hotel so, although the room was lovely, the traffic noise was quite loud although it did die down in the night. Apart from that we really enjoyed our short stay.

Gute Lage, großzügiges Zimmer

Cons:

Fotos zeigen schönere Bilder als das Hotel wirklich ist, Mussten Zimmer wechseln, weil direkt vor unserem Zimmer eine Baustelle eingerichtet wurde. Sehr überfüllt mit Reisegruppen.

We would love to go and stay for an extended trip.
Pros:

Beautiful property. Lots of history. Friendly, couteous and helpful staff. Loved the hostess at the restaurant! Food was some of the best we had in the trip.

Very pleasant as always!
Pros:

Freshly cooked breakfast was fabulous! Also lovely granola with yoghurt and rhubarb were very tasty.

Cons:

Room was lovely and newly renovated. A rug beside the bed would have made it even cosier. The bed was very high for me - I’m 5 foot 1 - might be tricky for shorter people with any mobility issues. Was very comfy once I managed to get into it!
