The owner Ivan and his staff go above and beyond to accommodate. Upon any request, someone will come to take care of things immediately. They offered to let me stay in my room 3 hours after checkout because it was available and I needed a place to leave my belongings. The food in the restaurant is absolutely delicious.

Ivan and the team from Romeo were very nice and super helpful.

You could not find a better host than Ivan, the manager. Excellent communicator, very hard worker, and completely receptive to all our needs. His assistant, Diego, was also super friendly and helped us take our luggage to the ferry station. The room was spotless, featuring a huge king bed and a full kitchen. The restaurant in front, Romeo, was always packed with people raving about the food.

My stay here was amazing! The room was very clean, the staff was exceptional, and the restaurant was really good. The location is also excellent—it’s basically 2 minutes away from Quinta Avenida, which is a big advantage considering the noise on that street. Many thanks again to the attentive staff!

I was expecting a guesthouse, but this was really like having your own little apartment in the heart of the downtown! I only stayed a few days so I ended up not cooking, but I could have in the fully equipped kitchen. The room was spacious and comfortable, as well as very quiet and dark at night as it's located in off a courtyard behind a restaurant. The staff was so friendly and welcoming. I enjoyed a meal at the attached Italian restaurant, where service was also exceptional. Tip: if you drive, there is paid parking across the street, but it's a small lot with a valet. Only about 600m away at 10th and 14, there is the Tendenza parking garage that is a much more secure and cheaper self-park option. I live near the Playa, so it is very likely I'll be back, and I intended to stay here again!

Esperaba una casa de huéspedes, pero esto fue como tener tu propio depa en pleno centro. Solo me quedé unos días, así que no cociné, pero podría haberlo hecho en la cocina totalmente equipada. La habitación era espaciosa y cómoda, y muy tranquila y oscura por la noche, ya que está ubicada junto a un patio detrás de un restaurante. El personal fue muy amable y acogedor. Disfruté de una comida en el restaurante italiano contiguo, donde el servicio también fue excepcional. Consejo: si vas en carro, hay un estacionamiento de pago al otro lado de la calle, pero es pequeño y con servicio de valet parking. A solo unos 600 m, en la calle 10 con 14, está el estacionamiento Tendenza, una opción de estacionamiento mucho más segura y económica. Vivo cerca de Playa, así que es muy probable que vuelva, ¡y tenía pensado alojarme aquí de nuevo!

Ich fand die Ausstattung sehr gut. Das in der kleinen Küche, alles vorhanden war, was ich brauchte und was fehlte, wurde besorgt im Innenhof zu frühstücken. Dass meine Vorschläge, als solche gesehen wurden und womöglich auch umgesetzt. Das tolle Restaurant was dazugehört.Die Strandnähe(300)m alle Mitarbeiter sehr bemüht waren.

The location was perfect to reach everything! The bus (ADO) was less than a 7 minute walk, the ferry about 10 minutes, and right in the middle of downtown Playa Del Carmen.
The restaurant Rome is literally attached to the domicile, and always serves the most delicious meals.
The staff was most helpful and friendly.
This is an ideal place to stay.
The room was clean and the location very safe.

Just one block from 5th Avenue, although not fancy, this place is truly a gem! Initially, I wasn’t sure as it was located next to a pizza restaurant in a busy area. My trip was last minute and on short notice, I had requested early arrival. Once inside the complex, I felt safe; it was quiet and everything was very clean. I was met by Diego, who was wonderful, carrying and storing my luggage, bringing extra water, connecting the internet cables and offering suggestions; he was so very gracious. If I needed anything, all I had to do was ask. The location was fabulous, close to the beach, the ferry and Fifth Avenue, making it a great stay!
