Our stay was ok but the room was not satisfactory for the price.
Pros:

Staff we re excellent.

Cons:

The room and bathroom were small, rudimentally furnished and decorated. The shower was over the bath and there were no grab rails to get in or out which made its use dangerous if not impossible for the old.

It was perfectly positioned for our nephews birthday party, the food we ate was delicious, spacious
Pros:

Our room was large and comfortable- the bathroom was lovely!

Cons:

Perhaps a few more little extras such as a few more biscuits, a bag of crisps or bit of chocolate- we had a child with us who, after our journey was hungry so ate our packet before we'd even unpacked!

The staff were lovely. Spot on. Easy check in for a last minute booking as travelling

Cons:

Parking was an issue as I had a van and there was a height restriction. Ended up parking quite a distance away

Pros:

Beautiful old hotel with charming character loved it

Cons:

The suite we were in was beautiful however it was cold but we did not raise this with staff if we had I am 100% sure they would have rectified it
