Aldgate Apartments FT5

Para empezar el check-in horrible, tuvimos que llamar y escribir varias veces hasta que nos contestaron tardamos más de una hora en poder entrar, al darnos las llaves no nos explicaron absolutamente nada y el trato fue pésimo, tardamos 15 minutos en averiguar cómo funcionaba cada llave y maniobrar con el picaporte ya que para cerrar había que subirlo hacia arriba.
Las escaleras de dentro del sitio para subir a los cuartos estaban en muy mal estado agujeros,golpes,moho,la pared sucia.
La alfombrilla del baño sucia y los botes de jabón completamente vacíos aunque se supone que todos los días venían a limpiar …, la nevera vacía y olía muy mal.
Compramos el cuarto con baño privado y nos dieron un cuarto con baño compartido.
La zona en la que nos hospedamos era bastante insegura no inspiraba absolutamente nada de seguridad,no recomiendo para nada este sitio habría preferido gastarme un poco más sin duda

Non c’è stata comunicazione tra l’host e noi, né prima del nostro arrivo, né dopo. L’appartamento era situato in una zona non particolarmente bella. Le scale per raggiungere l’appartamento erano molto ripide e c’era puzza. La nostra camera era sporca. Il bagno non era stato lavato, il water era molto sporco e il pavimento era molto appiccicoso e pieno di capelli e sporcizia. Si vedeva che non era stato lavato e non era stata neanche passata l’aspirapolvere. Siamo stati 9 giorni e ci hanno lasciato un asciugamano molto piccolo per farci la doccia e basta e quando ho scritto per averne un altro in più il mio messaggio è stato ignorato. I cestini della spazzatura in camera non erano stati svuotati, anche quello del bagno. Il tappeto in camera era sporco, la carta igienica non è bastata. Lo shampoo era praticamente vuoto e ogni volta che entravamo in camera, dopo essere stati via per tutto il giorno c’era puzza. La camera si affaccia su una via molto trafficata e non era assolutamente insonorizzata. La cucina in comune era sporca, il forno e il bollitore erano inutilizzabili per la sporcizia così come le pentole, sporche.

The stairwell is atrocious, holes, mould, paper and paint peeling, dirty, smelled.
TV remote in the Living room had no remote, the sky box underneath it had no leads.
Lamps with no bulbs, lamp nowhere near socket to plug in.
Could do with more towels, tea towel and bath mat.

Tried calling numerous times and had to cut my trip to London short as I had to catch a late train back!

Zero customer service whatsoever ever

Walking around the area at night felt a bit unsafe to me — nothing dangerous happened, but I just didn’t feel very comfortable.

Der Lärmpegel dort ist enorm, bei den Betten drücken teilweise die Federn durch, sehr viele Verschmutzungen und Schäden an den Wänden, die Toilettenspülung funktionierte so gut wie gar nicht.

Ich glaube das ist eine der schlechtesten Bewertung, die ich je geschrieben habe. Das Apartment hat sehr viel Potenzial und war bestimmt mal sehr gepflegt, wenn man sich die Bilder ansieht, diese spiegeln aber den aktuellen Zustand und Service in keinster weiße ab! Ich weiß das London sehr teuer ist und man Abstriche machen muss aber dennoch haben uns einige Punkte sehr gestört:
Check-In Infos gab es nur auf Anfrage von unserer Seite aus! Wir wurden dann aufgefordert Bilder unsere Pässe per WhatsApp zu schicken und mussten dann rumtelefonieren, um unsere Schlüssel zu bekommen. Alles sehr unpersönlich! Die gesamte Kommunikation lief über WhatsApp und wir mussten teil ewig auf Antworten warten. Auf die Frage ob man das Gepäck nach Check out aufbewahren kann warten wir bis heute…
Im Zimmer war es unfassbar heiß und es gibt nur ein Fenster was geöffnet werden kann.
Zimmer kann nicht wirklich verdunkelt werden und es ist sehr laut (auf letzteres waren wir allerdings eingestellt, da es an einer Hauptstraße liegt)
Es gab nur 1 großes Duschhandtuch pro Person. Auf Nachfrage ob man noch ein kleines für die Hände etc. bekommen könnte wurde uns gesagt es gäbe keine (auf den Bildern bei Booking.com sind welche zu sehen…). Uns wurde dann ein weiteres großes Handtuch versprochen, welches wir nie bekommen haben.
Die Unterkunft war zwar geputzt worden was man an den Streifen und Schmieren auf dem Boden, im Bad, Spiegel, Türen etc. erkennen konnte aber wirklich sauber hat es sich nicht angefühlt
Der Teppich im Zimmer war verschmutzt und hatte viele Flecken
Auf unserem Bettlaken waren am Fußende Blutflecken, was uns erst gegen Ende aufgefallen ist, weil sie gut versteckt waren.
Generell war das Bett eine Katastrophe und kann eigentlich nicht zu zweit benutzt werden da die Matratze total durchgelegen ist und man jede Bewegung des anderen merkt.

Beschreibung stimmt nicht überein, erst nach der Buchung war ein Gemeinschaftsbad ersichtlich

Nous n'avions pas compris que l'appartement comportait trois chambres en tout dont une était louée séparément à d'autres personnes. C'était bizarre mais correct au final.
Le gérant a mis du temps a nous transmettre le bon jeu de clefs mais nous étions en avance.
Sur les terrasses, les pigeons ne manquent pas…

Firstly, the room is too hot because it is positioned directly under the roof! There is no air conditioning but only the fan. We had strangely hot days during our stay in London, so the hot in the room (that was very small) was unbearable.
Secondly, there are definitely too many stairs (like fourth floor without elevator!) that were not specified anywhere. People with health problems should be informed in advance because this accommodation is definitely not suitable for them.

Too hot. Too many stairs to climb to arrive to the apartment (not suitable for people with disabilities and/or health problems)
