Just a brilliant evening, lovely meals, lovely breakfast, perfect location.
Pros:

It was a great stay, and I would have stayed longer had I known how good it was. The bar and restaurant were lovely, the room was great, and the staff wonderful. I particularly appreciated how un-pretentious and genuine it is. Had a lovely time.

Pros:

Very cosy pub with friendly staff and good food.

Cons:

The bar closed at 9pm and was locked and there was no other space to sit down and relax and get a drink, so we had to retire to our bedroom then. Need to provide some facility as we were away for a break not an early night.

Brilliant in everyway
Pros:

Every comfort was provided for. The choice at breakfast would have exceeded a 5 star hotel. Every member of staff made us welcome

Top marks, perfect in every way
Pros:

We had to leave at 8am for our VIP experience at Longleat, we explained this to the staff on check in and she was very accommodating and told us they could do us a takeout and it was ready and fresh for when we needed this so was amazing customer service.

Cons:

Nothing. It was perfect for us in every way.

Really enjoyable short break, superb staff, great food.
Pros:

Great breakfast (both quantity and quality). Really friendly and helpful staff. Nice atmosphere in the pub. Plenty of parking. Good coffee in room. Fridge in room was handy.

Lovely pub and rooms - comparable to some that come at a higher price. Very dog friendly.
Pros:

Good pub food, great breakfast. The room was nicely decorated and furnished. Good size bed.
Nice welcome tray with drinks and biscuits - also for the dog!
Staff were helpful and friendly.
Nice friendly and cosy bar area. The garden is beautiful.

Unfortunately the sprung mattress was a bit squeaky.

Amazing stay at the full moon, staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, fantastic vibe throughout the pub! Room was beautiful and comfortable, they really had thought of everything. Great meal in the bar that evening and a cracking full English in the morning! The atmosphere really makes the place. There’s a great feeling that everyone enjoys working there and makes you feel very welcome, we shall definitely be coming back, thanks for a great stay
